The CW is renewing Everybody Hates Chris for a third season.

And finally, we have a premiere date for America’s Next Top Model Cycle 8. Tyra, Jay, Ms. Jay, Twiggy, Nigel and a pack of stick thin bitches will premiere on February 28th! I cannot wait!

You know I almost passed out a month or two ago when they announced that Nathan Fillion would be taking over the headlining role of Fox’s new one hour drama DRIVE. Fillion is playing a landscaper forced to join the cross country illegal road race to find his kidnapped wife. And folks, we have a WIFE!

Amy Acker

AMY ACKER!

Acker is a fanboy dream; she’s been on both ANGEL and ALIAS. As both Winifred Berkel and as big blue Ileria we got to see that Acker is not a woman to be messed with. On Alias she kicked ass and blew shit up so the girl is well rounded. She made me cry as the dying Fred and made me cheer as she returned to television in Season 1 of SUPERNATURAL. I Heart Amy Acker and I’m glad she found another gig thanks to her Angel Exec Producer and Exec Producer of DRIVE, Tim Minear.

DRIVE debuts April 15th (Sunday) and then continues at its regular timeslot on Monday at 8pm! Unfortunatly it will air on the already jam packed MONDAY night but coupled with 24 this could be great news!

Neil Patrick HarrisEvery gay actor in Hollywood has probably been asked about the recent Grey’s activity so it was inevitable that one would finally speak out.  First up is How I Met Your Mother’s resident genius Barney, I mean Neil Patrick Harris.

TVGuide’s Michael Ausiello posted the following from NPH:

“T.R. has proven himself to be an incredibly classy, dignified guy,” he told me. “I’m impressed that Katherine Heigl said what she said. I was shocked that it all reared its ugly head again.”

Harris — who came out just weeks after Knight — wouldn’t comment on what form Washington’s “punishment” should take. “It’s impossible for me to make any kind of comment about that because I wasn’t there when it happened. It’s just disappointing that it’s… cyclical.”
You go Doogie, Barney, er NPH!

Grey's Anatomy Cast

It’s been quite the week for Grey’s Anatomy. On Monday night they won a Golden Globe for Best Drama then they created the Best Drama behind the scenes… again! Isaiah “The F Word” Washington claimed to have never said “The F Word,” Shonda confirmed that it never happened, discomfort grew, more discussion took place post Globes and then Katherine Heigl slammed Isaiah “The F Word” Washington on Access Hollywood and all hell broke loose. This was all in one night folks. Tuesday T.R. Knight hit Ellen’s show to say that indeed I”TFW”W called him a faggot and everyone heard it. Wednesday ABC issued a statement and Thursday “The F Word” made a statement through a network publicist.

Which brings us up to date and to a new episode. If the suspension of disbelief was there with “The F Word” then it was gone as of last night. Every scene in which I”TFW”W interacted with any cast member instantly felt false. It felt like acting. It felt as if they were all just getting by. I know I’m projecting but if it happened to me, it happened to many and that is exactly what Grey’s, Shonda, and ABC do not want happening.

Yes, we should be able to look past the incident and I”TFW”W’s faults but it’s kinda hard when you know the hatred and bigotry behind the eyes of the actor in front of you and that when T.R. and I”TFW”W are together there is so much anomosity.

In the scene where Christina walks in and asks George if he’s seen Burke today I was half expecting to see T.R. turn and flip out. “No I haven’t seen that frakking homophobe. No I haven’t seen that frakking liar. Seriously you think I care if I see him ever again?” Seriously I kinda wanted it to happen. This is bad news folks. Isaiah “The F Word” Washington has ruined Grey’s fourth wall and it’s going to be hard to see Burke any longer.

I digress.

In a “Network Publicist” released statement, Isaiah “The F Word” Washington is apologizing for the original and the more recent incidents that have caused chaos amongst Grey’s fans and obviously among the Grey’s cast.

“I apologize to T.R., my colleagues, the fans of the show and especially the lesbian and gay community for using a word that is unacceptable in any context or circumstance,” Washington said.

“By repeating the word Monday night, I marred what should have been a perfect night for everyone who works on Grey’s Anatomy. I can neither defend nor explain my behavior. I can also no longer deny to myself that there are issues I obviously need to examine within my own soul, and I’ve asked for help.

“I know the power of words, especially those that demean. I realize that by using one filled with disrespect I have hurt more than T.R. and my colleagues. With one word, I’ve hurt everyone who has struggled for the respect so many of us take for granted. I welcome the chance to meet with leaders of the gay and lesbian community to apologize in person and to talk about what I can do to heal the wounds I’ve opened.”

“T.R.’s courage throughout this entire episode speaks to his tremendous character. I hold his talent, and T.R. as a person, in high esteem. I know a mere apology will not end this, and I intend to let my future actions prove my sincerity.”

Here’s to hoping that the homophobe’s “future actions” are along the lines of demanding Shonda write him off the show!  I won’t accept any more creepy Patrick Dempsey ebony and ivory sing a longs or some fake ass hugs, knee pats, and awkward forced camaraderie with T.R..

Apparently today (Friday) they are having a cast sit-down to discuss their feelings.  Rumor has it that this meeting will be without Network Execs so here’s to hoping T.R. and KHeigl bring bats, razors, and some tazors just for fun.

Isaiah Washington

Isaiah Washington is a douche bag.
