I’m leaving and off for a winter weekend getaway. I won’t be back until Tuesday so if you read my previous post about being frustrated with not having seen so many shows, imagine how far I’ll be behind when I return on Tuesday night.

I’m happy to report that I did see The Office directed by the ever brilliant Joss Whedon. It made me howl twice and cry once. That means The Office was a success. The howling began when Dwight found the animal feces thinking it was a bird only to find it was a bat. The part that had me almost choking with laughter though was seeing Angela stop drop and roll when that bat came swooping out of the ceiling and through the office. I think I rewound that part about 10 times and died each time. Jim pretending he was turning into a Vamp was great. Dwight with that stake broom was a genius sight. I howled in laughter the second time when Meredith (Marybeth to Creed) came out of the bathroom and that damn bat swooped down into her hair. Dwight putting the garbage bag over her head was one of the funniest sight gags The Office has ever pulled off. AMAZING! The tears came when noone bothered to show for Pam’s art show. I felt horrible for her. Roy wasn’t that big of a Jerk but I wish he would have stayed. The actual tears though came when Michael was amazed by her Dunder Mifflin building watercolor and the hugging. It was sweet and sad and incredible. Then came the “chunky” and I forgot all about my sadness.

By my return, I’ll be behind on 24 and Heroes as well. Where will I find the time?
