There are so many new folks checking out my site for the first time and I cannot be happier to welcome you all! I know you’re all here to read the SUPERNATURAL stuff (I’m loving you LJ folks) but I wanted to take a second to introduce those of you that don’t or won’t normally come to my site and let you know what I’m all about.
First, I’m all about trying to talk about the shows I love and in a humorous way. Sometimes my humor is not for everyone, sometimes I’m not even funny. Sometimes I reread something I wrote and wonder why I’m not winning Pulitzer’s for comedy. Other times I’m so embarassed I posted something and noone comments. It’s the nature of a blog.
I started just writing a personal blog and began talking about my favorite shows. Soon that was all anyone wrote me about and I slowly transitioned my blog into a TV centric bitchfest. If you want to look at my old blog, click here. I transitioned in January to Wordpress and moved some stuff to what you’re looking at now. So the archives aren’t massive but they might be worth checking out.
I was invited to the Veronica Mars set last year as I was a huge fan and had a blast. I made some great contacts with the network and the studio and its kind of blossomed from there. I’ve been lucky enough to get press information, get invites to events, interviews, etc. It’s great fun y’all.
I usually talk about the following shows: American Idol, 24, HIMYM, Heroes, Studio 60, Veronica Mars, Friday Night Lights, Top Model, Lost, The Office, Grey’s Anatomy, Supernatural, Battlestar Galactica, Degrassi, Brothers & Sisters and other shows throughout the year. Project Runway and Top Chef are always fun and the summer is majorly heavy with So You Think You Can Dance (which I coordinated a bunch of SYTYCD Tour diaries and posted them from around the country) and Big Brother, The Closer and The 4400 and sometimes Rescue Me depending on my mood. Weeds is another one I just adore. And sometimes I chat about Ace of Cakes or other cable oddities like The Hills or those nasty ass kids on Sweet 16 - whatever gets me going! I’m hardcore, die-hard for Buffy, Angel, Firefly, Freaks & Geeks, My So Called Life, Wonderfalls, Twin Peaks (yeah Season 2 out this week on DVD) and other cult faves. I’m also not afraid to admit that I cry like a little girl on a weekly basis (RIP Everwood and Felicity)…
I just try to have fun and bring as much of my personality to the blog as possible.
I do a podcast with Kathie from Give Me My Remote and we have a blast. We crack ourselves up and we try to cover as many shows as possible. If you’re interested in listening, please click here. You can also find us on iTunes.
I also work for the Independent Film Festival of Boston which is at the end of this month (april 25-30). I’m psyched because some TV personalities cross-over into our festival this year! Eliza Dushku (Buffy, Angel, Tru Calling) and Ian Somerholder (Lost) will be in attendance for films we’re showing! Gotta love me some Faith and Boone. If you’re into movies at all, please check out our website and come visit if you’re in the Boston area.
Okay, get back to reading about Supernatural (Part 1 | Part 2) and I promise you, Part 3 is coming soon. I also apologize if you’re having viewing problems. I think Wordpress is having issues because my images keep appearing and disappearing. Just refresh or reclick an image and they should show up.
I hope some of you will bookmark me and come back often. I promise to start talking about Supernatural more as before it was more of a private obsession. Now that I see there are zillions of you out there, I’ll share my thoughts more.

We’re… a very devout cult.
I mean group. We’re a devout group.
It’s been great to see your reviews so far, they’ve been great! Personally I just want to get a freaking academic book out on the show but no one touches the cult for so long *pouts* I even have essays, too.

I came here from someone’s Supernatural LJ, and as I have gone from “eh, don’t watch TV much” to “OMG did you see Prison Break last night?” in 2.4 seasons, I have bookmarked your blog to add to my nightly reading.
I like your style!

Aww! And we at LJ love you! Loved your Supernatural posts, cause, well I love Supernatural. But! I’ve enjoyed looking through the rest of your blog as well. You’re absolutely bookmarked now too! Hee!
Looking forward to SPN Part 3!

Hey,
I’m from the Supernatural LJournal fangirls, lol, who are stalking you because of Supernatural.
Yes I’d really love to read more of our favourite guys and about the show. Fresh thoughts are always welcome and I love reading humorous ramblings about them. Also if you have contact with them, it may contains more backstage info which we fans pretty like. What pretty like… We literally drink every word!
So Rock on! =)

I’m one of the Supernatural infiltrators. Of all the shows you listed, the only other one I watch on occasion is The Closer. So, while I may be lurking, I’ll probably only be posting in Supernatural related entries :).
