Paul Rudd on Veronica Mars

While it’s been forever and a pussy…cat or two since Veronica Mars has been on the air I’m happy to say that when our favorite Collegiate Crime Buster returns next month she’ll be matching wits with one of my boyfriends… Paul Rudd!
I’ve had a major hard on for Paul Rudd since 1995 when he played Cher’s incestous loverbrother Josh in the life changing and lexicon altering CLUELESS! I used to work at Kinko’s in the early/mid/and late 90’s (what self respecting DIY hardcore kid didn’t) and I had a series of homemade notebooks with various Paul Rudd pictures on each one. I remember my favorite being a DETAILS photo from 1997. Hot!
I followed him to my favorite horror franchise Halloween, to Shakespeare (Romeo & Juliet), summer camp (Wet Hot American Summer), through virginity (40 Year Old Virgin), through harsh college make-overs (The Shape of Things), to TV (Strangers With Candy), and of course through homosexuality (The Object of My Affection). In a word, Paul Rudd and I share a special bond and he doesn’t even know it.
When Veronica Mars returns on May 1st with their last few episodes of Season 3 (hopefully not the last forever) we have something extra to look forward to besides Veronica’s snarky comments and some Pizonica (thanks to TheTVAddict for crediting me with my ingenious name mashing before Ausiello did - while at TVAddict, check out his Pizonica pic!) action.
On May 8th’s episode “Debasement Tapes” Paul Rudd guest stars as Desmond Fellowes, a singer/musician from a nineties pop band that Piz is put in charge of while he’s playing a benefit concert at Hearst.
