On The Lot
Sadly the Mark Burnett/Steven Spielberg created Fox show ON THE LOT is doing so poorly in the ratings that Fox has decided to leave some of the show on the cutting room floor.

I’m highly addicted to the show and think its a really amazing and important step in the reality show process. It’s a truly creative and inspiring show much like So You Think You Can Dance is. Filmmakers battling it out with their talents to get a dream job with Dreamworks.

Instead of two nights per week, On The Lot will now be condensed into one show per week. The Monday night show is gone, effective immediately. The competition and the results will happen simultaneously. If you’re scratching your head, you’re not alone. I don’t know what this means for the whole America Votes aspect of the show unless they are moving the voting process online for a day or two prior to the live broadcast. I’m so confused and annoyed.

On The Lot is needs more than 2 weeks to catch on and grow. Let it find its audience and let people get used to watching short films. America is not a short film society for the most part. It will take some getting used to for the non-fill buffs out there that comprise most of the viewing audience for any given show. FOX, leave it be and let it grow!

Here it is kids, My BF Myles Johnson auditioning for So You Think You Can Dance Season 3! As I’ve already stated, I really think that Myles Johnson has a shot at making it to the Top 20. He’s only been dancing for 8 months and is already this good. Imagine what he could pick up with various styles of choreography and being submersed in the lifestyle of the show and all those other creative dancers. He could learn tons! Give the boy a shot Nigel and Mary!

Is it so wrong that I’ve tossed My Ex-BF Travis Wall to the side so quick? I’m fickle.

Paula Abdul
Bravo has announced the premiere date of Paula Abdul’s summer (sure to be) blockbuster reality show “Hey Paula!” This 30 minute show which will air Thursday’s at 10pm premieres on June 28th with two back to back episodes.

I know people are cringing at the thought of Paula having her own show but if its as brilliant as the promos I’ve seen, this is the place to be all summer on Thursday nights. She’s zany, she’s slightly off balance, and she’s 100% Paula and I cannot wait.

Starpulse has all the information on the premiere of “Hey Paula” on Bravo.

Battlestar Galactica Six Baltar
Battlestar Galactica’s Fourth Season Will Be Its Last…

It’s frakkin’ official folks, Battlestar Galactica will have its series finale in 2008. With only 22 episodes left, BSG will have to reintroduce Starbuck (back from the unknown), settle their political strife, reveal the Big Bad Cylon leader, and find Earth. It’s a lot to jam into 22 episodes but I have faith in Ron Moore and David Eick.

Remember that we will get a two hour movie in November called “Razor” and come September we can catch Katee Sackhoff in Eick’s newest show The Bionic Woman.

Interested in what the creators have to say about why they’re ending? Here’s the quote from TVGuide.

“This show was always meant to have a beginning, a middle and finally, an end,” the duo said in a statement. “Over the course of the last year, the story and the characters have been moving strongly toward that end and we’ve decided to listen to those internal voices and conclude the show on our own terms. And while we know our fans will be saddened to know the end is coming, they should brace themselves for a wild ride getting there — we’re going out with a bang.”

A tear…

So You Think You Can Dance
So You Think You Can Dance hits Atlanta!

For the first time in two weeks we had more good dancers than bad ones down in the dirty south. The ATL brought it out! Plus, they had the best looking guys we’ve seen so far as well. Gotta love that! The funny thing is, the notebook I was writing notes in during the show is an old journal from the mid-90s that barely has anything in it and suddenly a bright pink business card falls out of it and its of a guy I was interested in… get this… from ATLANTA. Not kidding. So scary. Also scary is that I just googled him and found some interesting things.

Caitlin from Rochester, NY (not far from my hole of a hometown) is only 18 and the girl can move! She’s cute, talented, and seemed to think she was in it to win it so I’ve got two words for you Caitlin from Rochester… Bring It! Wait, why am I channeling cheerleader movies right now?

Is it me or have we seen way more B-Boys than in previous years? It’s crazy how many have turned out for their chance at fame and fortune on So You Think You Can Dance. The biggest obstacle folks like Hok, Phillip Chbeeb, D’Trix and tonights newest addition Tony Valez faces is learning other forms of dance. Sure they can rock the hell out of some breaking or popping but can they do the paso doble like Travis Wall?

No wonder Travis Wall was my TV Boyfriend last season. Hot damn there is nothing sexier than him in this Paso Doble. Love you Travis!

Sorry, back to Tony Valez’ audition which was just okay for me. Shane was sweating him hard which was odd because he really wasn’t that good. I was freaking out watching Shane impersonate Mary Murphy and her infamous scream! Very funny.

So You Think You Can Dance Season 2 contestants Travis Wall and Ivan Koumaev continue to act as BFF’s.  Earlier this week the two dance hotties hit SYTYCD ex-Judge Brian Friedman’s 30th Birthday Party at Los Angeles hotspot Les Deux.

This also marked the launch of Friedman’s new dance shoe line with Frontline and Capezio.  Movmnt Magazine sponsored the whole shindig and there were plenty of So You Think You Can Dancer’s there.

Obviously the only one’s I’m interested in are My BF Travis Wall and Jailbait Ivan.  Here they are at the launch with Season 1 contestant Melody Lacayanga.
