So You Think You Can Dance Announce The Top 10 Dancers!
Wow, tonight’s show was extremely hard to watch. I was a nervous mess from 9:40 on and as I type this I’m still a little jittery.
Here were the Bottom 3 Couples this week:
Danny Voldemort and Anya Garnis
Hok Konishi and Jaimie Goodwin
My BF Neil Haskell and Lauren Gottlieb
I was off by one couple but I did pretty well in my predictions based on the Top 12 Performances. I was sad to see the amazing Hok Konishi go, as well as Anya Garnis.
While the show has ended, I can’t help but wonder how the hell someone in particular is still in this competition. I’m sure you’re expecting me to say Voldemort, but that’s not it. It’s that shrew Lauren Gottlieb. While her solo tonight was pretty good, it stank of desperation (not Jaimie’s solo, thank you Nigel) and was a little too frantic and nervous for my liking.
Granted, I don’t love the girl and I guess I understand her staying and being more versatile than Anya but damn it hurt to see Anya go before Lauren. Did anyone else notice that she made way too much eye contact with the camera during the opening Jive number? She works a nerve.
There were moments of elation and hope when Voldemort was announced to be in the Bottom 3 but deep down I knew it was a crap vote to have him there. Based on this week’s performance, there was no way in hell he deserved to go but I still kind of wanted to see it happen.
I’m just 100% happy that I can breathe again knowing the My BF Neil Haskell has made it to the Top 10 SYTYCD Tour and that I’ll be able to molest attack meet him this fall. The boys damn cute and he’s fun and dorky and seriously that body is OOC! I heart him, as you know.
Glad they gave a shout-out to Emmy Nominees Wade Robson and Mia Michaels. They totes deserved it after those amazing routines.

I guess I’m not completely surprised that Hok’s run ended tonight, but it was still wicked hard to see him go. It pains me to see “Let’s Mug the Jesus-Loving God Outta the Camera” Lauren make it into the top ten over Anya. I really, REALLY don’t like her, and don’t think she’s deserves to be in the top ten at all.
Sidenote: That tap dancer was CRAZY amazing, and Enrique was uber boring. And Cat’s obviously still a major babe.

Dan, can you explain to me why you hate Danny so much, even after a much much better performance from him? But even though we disagree over Danny, I’m glad somebody dislikes Lauren as much as I do. Anya brought a touch of class and maturity that Miss “I Act Asian” Lauren just doesn’t have. Another rough week.

Well, after seeing who ended up in the bottom 3, I had to come here to see if my worst fear had been realized, and it was. I must now enter an appropriate period of mourning for the loss of my beloved Hok. You know, if he’d been in the top 10, I might actually have tried to go to one of their tour shows (though, admittedly, the odds of my actually making it would be pretty slim) but without him? Nah.
I’m glad, though, that Sara made it through. I like her MUCH better than Anya, and Lauren should just go back to assisting Tice, backstage and out of the spotlight, where she belongs.
I would have loved to see He Who Must Not Only Not Be Named But Even More Importantly, Must Not Be Allowed To Foul The Stage With His Cold, Emotionless Movements fail in a most miserable, unredeemable way and slink back off to his hovel, never to darken a stage near me again! But I guess that’s just too much to ask for, huh?
Cat’s dress tonight was really, really pretty!

And YES, Mel. I agree, the tap dancer was amazing. Now THIS is what I want to see on a dance show. Not Anna Cornucopia’s BF.

I could care less that Anya is gone. I think that it’s I keep hearing “Hips don’ t lie” by Shakira playing in the background when she performs, especially her solos and I can not STAND Shakira.
I don’t really have an opinion on Lauren, apparently I am in the minority!
Even though I am not a fan of Voldemort, I would have been sad to see him go last night, considering that he had such a great performance the night before.
I can only hope that we get many, many more Wade and Mia routines!

I LOVE that Anya is gone. Bitch stole Shauna’s spot last week when she should’ve gone. Can’t wait to see how fast Miss Danny goes down (and not in that public men’s room kind of way he likes). I think he’s outta here as soon as America gets to vote. Arrogant queen.

Is it wrong that I laugh knowing Danny will have to be on tour this summer, which is oh-so-beneath his talent? Ha-ha! It almost makes up for the belived Hok being sent home last night. Not quite, but almost.

Steven’s comments are a little confusing…NOT! I totally agree. I think the judges should have taken that into consideration. He’s their best dancer in their opinion but keeps ending up in the bottom three. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out what’s going on. Hok would have sold WAY more tickets on the tour.

My thoughts while watching last night:
1.) Is it wrong that at this point I care more about which routines we’ll get to see on tour then who wins the damn show? All I could think last night was that I knew Hok wouldn’t ever win it all but that I NEED to see that little muffin dance in person. Olus I need to see that so called “jazz” number Wade choreographed for them done live.
2.) I want scoop on who’s making out behind the scenes. It would be fun to find out people we didn’t expect to be banging were doing the nasty, like Danny and Pasha or Sabra and Hok…
3.) Finally, I think my prediction for the top 2 are Neil and Jamie (even though Neil in those clam digger jeans last night wasn’t pretty and I can not stop staring at his feet when he dances b/c they’re huge).

we dont think neil’s feet are big well bc we never look there bc we look at his hot face. we think he’s hotter than danny and kam!!!!(even though they’re hot too!!!!!)we ♥ neil kam pasha and dom!!!! we’re so happy there in the top 5 boys!!! we are gonna get tickets to see them we think neil pasha kam or dom should win (mostly neil or pasha)well we think hok shouldn’t of got kcicked off we think danny should of. well we think anya deserved it. we also don’t care who’s making out behind the scences ok!!!! we also don’t think people should say mean things about lauren bc she was so much better than anya. danny and anya are tarts ok danny is a $#@*%
