SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE has announced their Top 4 finalists America and I’m one happy man! America got it right for a change and made My Top 4, Their Top 4 as well!
Top 4 Finalists competing for the title this Thursday night are: Neil Haskell, Sabra Johnson, Danny Tidwell, and Lacey Schwimmer
That means that Pasha and Lauren were sent packing. Kisses, hugs, but it had to be done! I feel shame in admitting this, but in that big empty auditorium I actually started to feel bad that Lauren was going home. I know in my heart that she and her baby fat face needed to go but with no one there to cheer on her demise, there was something lost in the moment. Seriously though, both Lauren and Pasha were champs when it came to how they handled going home and that’s all you want to see at this stage of the game. (more…)
So, I just realized that all day today Fox Reality Channel has been airing the whole 3rd season of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE. They started at 6am this morning and will be caught up to the finale by tomorrow night. If you’re bored and surfing the tube, head on over to Fox Reality Channel and catch a routine or two.
It’s a great way for all of you who aren’t watching to see what I’ve been writing way too much about all summer.
Don’t forget that the Top 4 will be revealed tonight at 8pm on Fox.
SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE Top 6 (Danny, Neil, Pasha, Lauren, Lacey, and Sabra) are working it for PEOPLE MAGAZINE this week! Thanks to Mel for pointing me over to JUST JARED who’s got the scans already up of our favorite Top 6 dancers in this week’s PEOPLE MAGAZINE.
Please head on over to JustJared to see the whole spread! That sounds much dirtier than it is, but not nearly as dirty as I’d like it to be.

GOSSIP GIRL Premieres: Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at 9pm
(*New Premiere date and time) Network: The CW
Synopsis: Based on the popular book series of the same name, this drama gives viewers a peek into the world of privileged teenagers on an elite private school in New York City. The story is written by The O.C.’s Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, and directed by Mark Piznarski who has worked on series like Everwood and Veronica Mars.
The privileged prep school teens on Manhattan’s Upper East Side first learn that Serena van der Woodsen is back in town the way they learn all the important news in their lives — from the blog of the all-knowing albeit ultra-secretive Gossip Girl. No one knows Gossip Girl’s identity, but everyone in this exclusive and complicated vicious circle relies on her website and text messages for the latest scoop.
*Narrated by Veronica Mars’ own Kristin Bell
Cast: Blake Lively as Serena van der Woodsen, Leighton Meester as Blair Waldorf, Penn Badgley as Dan Humphrey, Chace Crawford as Nate Archibald, Taylor Momsen as Jenny Humphrey, Ed Westwick as Chuck Bass, Kelly Rutherford as Lily van der Woodsen, Matthew Settle as Rufus Humphrey

Ducky’s Thoughts: I loved me some OC back in the day (Seasons 1-2) and I do kind of worship the ground that Josh Schwartz writes upon but you can’t watch this and admit that there is some major cheese happening and this show will have a hard time walking that line between over the top bitch camp and social satire while still being dramatic and engaging. I’m hoping it can live up to the hype because I want Kristin Bell to be employed vocally (if nothing else) and I might have a new TV boyfriend in the character of Dan played by Penn Badgley.
