I’m just catching up on TV News from yesterday so this might be really old news for you blog heavy readers. LOST has added yet another person to the Season 4 lineup. First it was Ken Leung, then Lance Reddick, now JUSTICE’s red-head REBECCA MADER.

All I know about Rebecca Mader is that she reminds me soooo much of Footloose’s Lori Singer and that she was really good on Justice.

Details of the character Mader will play on Lost are still under wraps but the general concensus is that she will take the role Kristen Bell passed up.

PRISON BREAK Season 3 doesn’t premiere until September 17th but they just released the first 17 minutes of the Season 3 Premiere.

I was home sick yesterday and after I woke from a 4 hour nap (after 12 hours slumber prior), I got to see HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 2 for the third time. Disney struck gold with this concoction of cheesy teen drama and campy musical.

December 11th, Disney will release High School Musical 2 on DVD! The DVD will contain a 111 minute extended version of HSM2, tons of behind the scenes footage, unaired musical sequences, and the High School Musical 2 Sing-a-long.

“What Time Is It?” It’s Christmas time with a karaoke machine and my copy of HSM2!

BIG BROTHER 8 continues to shine as a season of Must See TV. Not a dull moment in that place and after 8 years, that is saying something! Evel Dick, Amber, Jen, Joe, Dustin, Nick, Daniele, Eric, and Jameka have proven that you don’t need an All-Star cast to get people excited and talking about Big Brother again. You just need great reality TV personalities who are strategic competitors, nightmares as humans, ready to kick some ass and create lots of drama. CBS delivered big time this season!

With Dani and Amber on Power of 10, the rest of the house almost seemed quiet, that is until Jen went crazy! As I hinted at on Tuesday, Jen would prove that she’d finally lost it in the Big Brother house. So what happened when Jen snapped?

She first went around the house putting all of her clothes and personal belongings in trash bags, then hid them in drawers. She went outside where most of the houseguests were. Dick was smoking and blowing smoke her direction so she casually went indoors and went to Dick’s room. She took all of the cigarettes he had left (5 cartons), ran to the storage room, dumped them on the floor, jumped on them, ripped them, then dumped them into a trash can. She grabbed a bottle of bleach, poured it all over the cigarettes and then walked out.

In the meantime, someone warned Dick that she was probably up to something and he should probably hide his cigarettes. He goes it, finds them gone and begins the verbal assault on Jen, who’s looking more ‘Glenn Close crazy eyes coming out of the tub’ than regular Jen crazy at this point. Jen gets called into the Diary Room by BB.

A little while later, Dick finds the goods in the storage room, finds Jen’s clothes and locks them in the HOH room. On his way up, Jessica see’s Dick with big garbage bags: “Jen, if your clothes are in garbage bags, Dick just took them upstairs.” Plenty of screaming and yelling between Dick and Jen…

Jen, now in full on crazy mode, goes into the kitchen and starts cooking Turkey burgers. She comes outside and sits down with the rest of the houseguests. She’s got the biggest mound of food on a plate, an apple, and some cottage cheese. Now mind you, girl’s on slop for another couple weeks so she can’t be eating.

Everyone warns her not to eat and I’m almost certain I saw her eyes roll into the back of her head before she took that first bite. Then it was a free for all, she just started cramming food into her mouth as fast as she could. I’m talking old Star Jones at a buffet.

The other house guests were SOOOOO over this incident.

Jen gets called into the Diary Room again; twice in one day! Girl was on a tirade of crazy and I loved every second of it. Especially when she came out of the diary room, went outside and Dick blew smoke in her face again. She just starts slapping at him, trying to knock the cigarette out of his mouth. It was hysterical and sad at the same time. She had finally broke.

In the end, Jen got an additional vote added onto the house guests LIVE votes and she went home 6 to 0. She was verbally abused so much in that house, I’m surprised she didn’t go Will Mega on anyone. Never in the history of the game has one person been so hated and so ridiculed for 7 weeks on end. It was harsh and I’ve gotta give it to the girl for sticking it out as long as she did.

It was fun though to see her get a little bit of revenge by participating in the new HOH competition. It was a dunk tank scenario and Jen was the one pushing the button. It was fitting that the last person eliminated from the competition was Dick and Jen got to drop him into that water!

I hope Big Brother has a therapist on hand. Seriously!

While most of the drama and excitement was happening back at the house – Amber and Daniele’s trip to NYC to participate on CBS’s POWER OF 10 will prove to be entertaining on its own. Not only will Amber and Dani face off against each other, they’ll be surprised when evicted house guest Nick shows up as their lifeline.

During next week’s episode of POWER OF 10, current BIG BROTHER 8 Houseguests Daniele Donato and Amber Siyavus will compete against each other in the two-person game, allowing the winner to move on for a chance to play for $10 million, Tuesday, Aug. 28 (8:00 9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS.

After almost nine weeks in the BIG BROTHER 8 house, Daniele and Amber, the top two winners of a Power of Veto competition, won a luxury reward and were flown to New York to appear on the CBS game show POWER OF TEN.

Julie announced last night that none of the other house guests know why they went to NYC so it should be fun to watch that reveal, especially if someone won some fabulous cash and prizes. Thank goodness Power of 10 will be on right before Big Brother on Tuesday, otherwise I don’t know I would have watched. Lazy.
