SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE Video Death Match
Week 1 Results
Wow, we had over 3500 votes and here’s who you’ve chosen to eliminate America.
So, Danny & Anya’s Fox Trot as well as Sara & Jesus’ Hobo routine have been eliminated. I’m a little surprised by Sara & Jesus being in the bottom 2 because that’s a really good routine. Oh well, moving on!
Tomorrow, Week 2’s voting will begin when our Top 8 go head to head in another So You Think You Can Dance Video Death Match!
GREY’S ANATOMY lost its way last season. It was uneven in plot development, character development and to be honest at times the show was borderline soap opera – like Passions, not General Hospital.
I personally went from out of my mind excited and enthused about the show to wanting to never watch another frame of film to being optimistic in the matter of one season. That’s a lot of emotional highs and lows.
The High:
It was mid July 2006 when a certain video hit youtube and rocked my world, shooting my anticipation for the upcoming season of Grey’s to an all time high and leaving me mesmerized and a little teary eyed. That video, The Fray’s “How To Save a Life” was the promotional mashup of Season 3 premiere footage and Fray’s music video footage and it was pure emotional genius. It was a manipulative masterpiece, and the second I finished it, I played it again, then another time before forwarding it to every person I know and posting on my blog.
Let’s watch shall we:
God remember how you just watched that and hypothesized whether or not the woods scenes were part of the show, was there a car crash – is someone dead? The questions were almost too much! Callie was dancing in her underwear and I felt closer to her and girl power than I ever had before (being a male and all). Then there’s the moment. The moment that sealed the deal for me and Season 3. The shots of Izzie on the bathroom floor after Denny’s death. Then the moment of moments, Meredith reaches out and grabs her hand and there’s that bone crushing but it doesn’t matter because the emotional pain is worse than the physical pain squeeze. I almost wept watching a music video! (more…)
HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER Season 3 begins Monday, September 24th.
“Wait For It” – When Robin shows up with an Argentinean Adonis by her side, Ted decides he is ready to hit the town with Barney and his performance is legen…wait for it…dary! Enrique Iglesias guest stars as Gael, Robin’s new, sexy Argentinean lover.
Robin’s beaded hair is killing me! Go Robin Sparkles!!!
Am I the only one planning on watching the documentary CRAZY SEXY CANCER on TLC tonight? The film follows Kris Carr (actress and filmmaker) through her troubles with cancer as well as four other women battling forms of the disease.
The HEROES World Tour is well underway and I’m so jealous of anyone living in the cities they’re visiting. Here are some photos of cast members: Masi Oka, Greg Grunberg, Ali Larter, and Sendhil Ramamurthy in Tokyo.
Well, looks like we won’t have to worry about what Kevin Smith would do to the cast and crew of Battlestar Galactica because Ron Moore is stating that Silent Bob is out!
According to slashfilm, Ron Moore posted on the Sci-Fi pages that because of scheduling conflicts, Smith will not be directing a episode of BSG.

Premise: Power, privilege and family money are a volatile cocktail.
Living proof of this are the Darlings of New York City, so absurdly wealthy, they put the “upper” in Upper East Side. This preeminent family are always getting mixed up with the wrong people and finding themselves in the middle of bad situations. It’ll take a miracle to take care of the legal and sometimes illegal needs of the Darling family. (more…)
He goes from Spanking Monkey’s to Spanking Losties! JEREMY DAVIES has been cast on Season 4 of LOST.
Hollywood Reporter is saying that the scrawny actor will play on of the people out on that mysterious freighter Naomi mentioned before dying last season.
If you don’t know who Jeremy Davies is, please go watch SPANKING THE MONKEY and then go to the theatre and watch him waste away to a skeleton in RESCUE DAWN.
If Lost continues adding cast members, there’s no hope of Rose and Bernard getting screen time this year. Say it ain’t so…
Dancing With The “Stars” has officially unveiled its lineup for the upcoming season. I refuse to watch DWTS because let’s face it, it’s no So You Think You Can Dance.
It makes me sick that DWTS is a bigger hit than SYTYCD. The talent is really poor in comparison, how are people interested in watching Wayne Newton’s melting face and fat body lumber around a stage when they could be watching shirtless Neil Haskell working his metrosexual magic? Come on folks.
Regardless, I know a lot of you do watch, so I thought I would officially list the Season 5 “stars” competiting.
Scary Spice, Some Cheetah Girl named Sabrina Bryan, Helio Castroneves (race car driver?), Mark Cuban (ugh, Landmark cinemas), Jennie Garth (noooooooooooooo), Josie Maran (Model), Cameron Mathison (shocker, a soap star), Floyd Mayweather Jr. (boxer), Wayne Newton, Marie Osmond (will she be selling those dolls as well?), Albert Reed (Model), Jane Seymour (seducing Barney on How I Met Your Mother did wonders)
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, sorry wake me when it’s over.
*UPDATE: Voting Ends Tonight at 11:59pm so vote for your favorites!
SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE announced it’s Winner, Sabra Johnson a week ago but that doesn’t mean that our obsession needs to end. The Tour begins soon and to keep all of us as obsessed as possible, I thought I would offer up a fun game.

Premise: Mick St. John is a captivating, charming- and immortal- private investigator from Los Angeles who defies the traditional blood-sucking norms of his vampire tendencies by using his wit and powerful supernatural abilities to help the living.
In a life-altering twist of fate, Mick was “bitten” 60 years ago by his new bride, the seductive Coraline. Forever 30 years of age, Mick’s as handsome and charismatic as the day he was “turned,” and he eschews others of his kind who view humans only as a source of nourishment. With only a handful of like-minded confidantes for company, including the eternally young, wealthy and mischievous Josef, a hedge fund trader who relishes his uniqueness, Mick fills his infinite days protecting the living.
But one night years ago, a single act of kindness changed Mick when he saved a young girl’s life, making him want to be a better vampire. Now their paths cross again and Mick develops a distinctive bond with Beth Turner who has grown into a beautiful, ambitious Internet investigative reporter.
Reconnecting with her unleashes feelings Mick knows he can’t pursue without exposing the part of him that would make him a monster in Beth’s eyes. As Mick lives between two realities, fighting his adversaries among the undead and falling in love, he discovers the mysteries and pleasures that a valuable life has to offer.
Ducky’s Thoughts: When they decided to recast and added Jason Dohring (Logan we’ll never forget you) and Shannyn Sossamon, I was an immediate fan. The Comic-Con panel with the cast was so much fun and the promos they showed us were great. I got the original press kit for Moonlight and enjoyed what I saw but I cannot wait to get my hands on the new Pilot with the new cast.
Mick St. John has the possibility of becoming one of the most charming characters on television this fall. Jason Dohring will eat up the scenery with his portrayal of Josef and I cannot wait to see the strife between Coraline and Mick!
So in a nutshell, MOONLIGHT is a great addition to the fall lineup and I cannot wait for it to premiere!
The preview above is before the recast and CBS has yet to release the official new promo with Jason, Shannyn and Co. The second I can get my hands on it, I will have it here for you guys and gals to swoon over.
