SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE Week 2
Week 2 begins with somewhat of a twist. I apologize for the short voting week but National Holidays can do that. On SYTYCD they took a break so we took a break for Labor Day. I was in Montreal since the two routines voted out were announced and that is why I was unable to get the new vote up.
So that twist I mentioned. So many people complained that their favorite routine wasn’t listed. I get it, if every routine mentioned was listed, then we’d have a Death Match that runs until next season begins… wait a minute! No, not happening. I am however throwing a wrench in this week’s vote.
By popular demand, I am adding Lacey Schwimmer and Danny Tidwell’s SAMBA! There is a catch though. That means that 3 routines will be eliminated this week!
The 3 routines with the least votes will be eliminated. You wanted DACEY’S SAMBA so you’ve got it. Now what happens is all up to you guys!
There are 9 routines left in the Death Match and after Friday, only 6 will remain. I’m extending voting by 1 day to accommodate the holiday and the delay so gets to voting!

Here’s how it works: Watch the 9 videos below and vote on your favorites. Each week, the two routines with the lowest number of votes will be eliminated until we are down to the Top 2 SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE Routines. Then we vote on a winner!

Thanks Ducky! I think the piece that maybe we weren’t communicating in our pleas for additions to the list was that there were actually 12 routines featured in Finale. I think the two you missed happened when your power went out. Neil and Sara repeated their disco (Adam Shankman’s choice) followed by Dancey’s Samba (Wade’s choice), and then Lacey was eliminated.

ducky u still forgot one more. it was the repeat out the matrix dance. we think it was the top 8 and they showed it in the finale, but if u don’t wanna add it its ok but just saying that it was on of our favs

I like that disco better than some of the dances on the list. At the same time I prefer a couple of the pieces on the list already and so I’m not crying over not having it here. In the end only 1 can win. Hopefully the list covers as many people’s #1 choices as possible. I think it’s done that pretty well.

Sorry for the double post. The poll isn’t strictly based on what was in the finale. Danny & Neil’s and Lacey & Sabra’s dances weren’t in the finale (because we had just seen them the night before).
The one dance that was in the finale that no one’s mentioned is Sabra and Dom’s Hip Hop. There were 13 dances in the finale, including 3 group numbers. There are 11 dances in the poll, and 2 of them were not on that show. So 4 are missing. Not a big deal, the poll never claimed to be about ranking only the dances chosen for that show.

kate is right if theres gonna be dances that were not in the finale shouldn’t ALL the dances in the finale be in it. but hey its probally to late.

Ducky, it sounds like maybe you think we’re all just a little too into this! Thanks for the reminder that while I might get a little misty still when I think about Voldemort spinning all over the stage, life goes on. Only 16 days until the tour starts - not that I’m counting ; )

we’ve never looked at it like that you’re right ducky! you always have a great way of putting things! we all need to get a hobby cuz we are way to into this show and the show is over (how werid is that)
