I heart your website, Ducky! And I heart your recap of Pushing Daisies. It had me laughing almost as hard as the show does. Oh, Olive and her devotion to The Pie Maker ... her musical interlude was amazing, and I loved it. I am fast becoming a Cheno Lovin' Freak, let me tell you....

Ned and Chuck and what shall hence be known as "the body bag kiss" was magical. I loved every minute of it, from the look on their faces, to Emerson pulling out his knitting needle, breaking free, and then pushing their heads apart. Amazing. I will honestly say that, though I've watched this episode only twice, that part has been rewound over and over and over again for the glory.

And Chuck ... oh, *sigh*, why won't Chuck marry me already? LOL. She's amazing. I love her so very, very much. She's so cute and innocent, and everything lovely with her sweet voice, and her pretty dresses, and her gorgeous hair. I'm not certain, but after watching interviews with Anna Friel, and catching her Pantene commercial from the UK, I believe it was her doing the voice over for the Dandy Lion car, in that bit with the big earth and the intro to the car. Maybe I'm just *that* Anna-obsessed, though, that every Brit accent I hear reminds me of hers... :)

I love the show-the story, the imagination, the surprises, the language ("she wanted to say no, but her heart was so full, it reached up and nodded her head yes"), the sets, and especially the characters-people we care about and about what happens to them-the key to a good story. Thanks for your site.

When Young Ned saved Digby, as the two ran through the field of daisies a squirrel was shown falling to the ground.

I couldn't help but ask when those dead birds cascaded to the ground, what died for Digby to live?

[...] Ducky Does TV PUSHING DAISIES let me count the ways in which I love you. The writing, the acting, the narration, the set design, the cinematography, the camp, the relationship, and more. Last week America fell in love with Ned The Pie Maker and a Girl Named Chuck, much like I had months earlier. This week, my love affair deepened and I found myself aching for more drama, more Ned and Chuck, more Olive, more Emerson, more angst, and just more Pushing Daisies. Read the rest of the recap/review at DuckyDoesTV.com [...]

I loved that they kept up the cinematography - I was worried that it would not be as good as the zillion dollar pilot. I think Kristin might be my favorite character. She's so cute. I loved her singing Hopelessly Devoted.
