I know I’ve been pretty lax with the WGA updates of late but seriously, it’s a lot of back and forth that sometimes I don’t even understand so I figure I’ll wait until something big that impacts the viewers is news worthy before posting again.

  • Well, this week we’ve already learned that Jay and Conan will return to late night on January 2nd (without writers). Letterman is still trying to work out a new WGA deal to head back to the airwaves asap.
  • The WGA is looking to individual production companies to strike a deal instead of relying on the big bad congl
  • That’s great and all but here’s the biggest kicker of the week. The WGA will not grant the Golden Globes and the Academy Awards any special waivers that would allow writers to punch up the awards.

    • A little Holiday cheer from Justine Bateman, Fred Savage and the cast of HEROES. I’d like to see Justine Bateman on Heroes, someone make that happen.
