Sit Ubu Sit! The cast of FAMILY TIES was on The Today Show this morning! What! Loves! The Keaton’s in the house! Michael Gross, Justine Bateman, Tina Yothers, Michael J. Fox and Meredith Baxter (minus the Birney) were on the Today Show this morning with creator Gary David Goldberg! Love them!
God, Family Ties was the shit in my youth. I can’t tell you how much I loved watch Alex P. and Malorie go at it week after week or how much Mallory’s bitchery informed who I’d become later in life.
Here’s a question though… Where’s Brian Bonsall who played that little twit that came along and almost ruined the show? Skippy? Where’s Skippy?

Who cares about little Andy? Where’s Tom Hanks? His depiction of the embezzling, alcoholic Uncle Ned is classic. He drank a bottle of vanilla extract, for god’s sake. Now that is good television.

Brian Bonsall is currently residing in Boulder, Colorado - he was arrested in 2007 for some domestic issues with his girlfriend.
Not sure of the status of this, but he may not be able to leave the state.

FYI…Brian Bonsall will be reuniting with the cast at another event next week. As for all these stupid claims that he is another child star gone bad? Get real. He got in a fight with his girlfriend. The cops were taking one of them. He took the rap. If you lived in Boulder and followed his band…”The Light on Adam’s Stereo” you’d get to meet him and see what an amazing guitarist and performer he is. Not only that, but ask anyone on the CU campus that has met him, and there are many, and they will tell you that he is one really nice guy.
