This morning Good Morning America aired the two alternate endings that were shot on LOST to keep cast and crew in suspense with the rest of us. Here is who else could have turned out to be Jeremy Bentham.

LOST Season 4 finale - Desmond and Penny

I wish I could tell you all that GMMR and I had a special 2 Idiots Talk Lost podcast available this morning but with my moving and her seeing Sex & The City tonight, you’re going to have to wait a couple days.

Instead you get me, just 1 Idiot Talking Lost – and talking about it in the most random, high level, non-sensical way I’m sure. I don’t even know where to begin…

Overall I have to say that I loved the episode. I also have to admit that I’m not the most critical about LOST. I’m a viewer that likes to sit back and let the show take me wherever it wants to take me. That means I accept that the island can be moved, I accept that most of the time a dead person is never really dead, and that there’s always more than meets the eye (and/or ear) when it comes to all things LOST. While I might be confused about things right now, or think that things are ridonk, I have faith in the show and the incredible writing staff that in due time it will all work itself out and I’m along for the ride no matter what. I’m blindly faithful to this show and that’s how I like it.

My Thoughts:

  • I love that the finale began where the finale ended last year and that we got even more of that amazing scene by the airport. So much was revealed. There was a damn good slap, talk about Aaron, mention of Jeremy Bentham and how he’s contacting all the survivors – WTF!, and then there was the set up for Sawyer’s exit from the helicopter in Kate saying how traumatic the day they left was. Both Matthew Fox and Evangeline Lilly killed that scene once again.
  • How about that incredible fight scene on the island between evil Keamy, The Others, Ben, Kate and Sayid? It was like the dino scene in King Kong with all the chaos – took my breath away with the frantic non-stop action. And once again for the record Richard Alpert is one creepy ass hot ageless dude. Oh and what about Ben just being so nonchalant about Kate and Sayid taking the chopper to leave the island? I love that Benry Gale Ben Linus when he’s on a mission.
  • Rose, girl you crack me up with your sharp tongue. Watching her lay the smackdown on Miles was high-larious! I love that Rose – but where the hell was Bernard?
  • Miles and Charlotte. He’s one creepy dude but he’s growing on me. I love that he read Charlotte and knew that she had ulterior motives for wanting to come on this expedition. I did hear her say that she’s been trying to find the place she was born correct? So does that mean Charlotte is from the island? A child BORN on the island? Crazy talk. Did she leave the island after she was born and that’s why all other women die before giving birth? Did that bitch ruin it for everyone? Could she be another spawn of Widmore? Aack!
  • Locke’s ascension to power. It’s been a long time coming and it was wonderful to see good things happening for John Locke no matter how wacky and new agey they may be. I’ve always loved Locke’s dedication to the island and after seeing Richard visit him (as a child) a couple weeks back, it really was destiny that Locke found the island. But how did he leave the island and become Jeremy Bentham? I’m assuming he has to be Jeremy Betham because technically John Locke is supposed to be dead but can he leave the island like Richard and Tom or did he have to move the island again in order to leave? It’s too much!

I’m so excited for the season finale of LOST tonight that I might piddle. Seriously, I cannot even imagine what they have in store for us and what direction they’re going to throw the show for Season 5; the anticipation is almost too much.

Will we find out if a bunch of the castaways died? Will we find out if Claire is really pushing daisies with her Father or if she’s been part of the plan all along? Will we find out if Penny is still searching for Desmond? Will we find out if others left the island with Ben but without being part of the Oceanic 6 (Juliet I’m looking at you)? Will someone finally kill that rat bastard Keamy? I don’t care for his ways or that rat face of his.

Also tonight is yet another night of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE auditions! Sure, yesterday I posted pics from DC thinking that they were going to be shown last night – look at them now and pretend they’re new to you because tonight the show really does go to DC.

In case you’re wondering… No, there are no prospects yet for the newest SYTYCD TV Boyfriend. It’s hard to concentrate on the boys when I know My BF Travis Wall is going to show up at some point. It almost feels like cheating.

Now for the sad news… Jon and I are moving into our new place tomorrow and sadly I’m going to be without cable and the internet until Tuesday night. Wha-wha-what?! I’m sick over it, honestly. I’ve tried everything I could to reason with Comcast but they’re not really budging. I got them to move up the appointment by 24 hours and I’ve made it onto their weekend “cancellation” list – fingers crossed someone cancels!

My luck its going to be Saturday while I’m at the starting date of the TRUE COLORS TOUR. No one gets between me and my Cyndi Lauper!

That means I’m going to miss BATTLESTAR tomorrow night as well as DOCTOR WHO. I can’t even TIVO them because I’ll have no service. I’m going to cry myself a river of tears now so pardon me.

Have a great weekend if I don’t blog again until next week!

Tonight, the audition process continues on SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE as Cat, Nigel, Mary and Co. descend upon Washington, DC in hopes of finding America’s Favorite Dancer.

*Obviously Jazz Hands and Hoola Girl are shoo-ins.

I’ve been thinking about this ever since the announcement that Jennie Garth will reprise her original role of Kelly Taylor on The CW’s new 90210. If Jennie Garth (and now Tori Spelling) weren’t along for the ride in even their limited capacity, would you still be as interested in the new show?

I guess this really comes up because watching both this interview from TV Guide’s Michael Ausiello and the one from E!’s Kristin Dos Santos makes it look like even Jennie Garth has reservations.

Does it scare you at all that she has no clue what’s going on or if she even wants to be on the show? I hope its just cluelessness and not being in the loop on everything instead of little interest on Garth’s part. Fingers crossed that her part is big enough for her to want to be involved on a more regular basis.

For the latest on the new script, check this out!

Also, don’t forget to check out Jessica Walter’s talking about 90210 and the Arrested Development movie!

I know I’m really late on getting some information on the return of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE up on the blog so here is my first attempt. I missed the premiere last Thursday because I was flying to Colorado and thankfully last night was the rebroadcast on Fox. I only saw the last hour (hey My BF Travis Wall!) and hands down this is the most incredible moment of the portion I saw.

Bones Season 3 Finale (Angela and Bones in Limbo)

Yesterday I spent my entire waiting time and actual flight time watching every post-strike episode of BONES, all the way through this weeks finale. I just now finished the finale and I’m actually hurt by the turn of events. I’m not going to lie, I cried big tears in the final moments of the episode and I wished I’d given Gorgomon’s Apprentice something as well.

Notice I’m being vague in who within the Jeffersonian was associated with the crazy ass secret society, silver bones, and killing lobbyist business… not any more. My next sentence will spoil it for anyone who hasn’t yet watched the finale or even caught up with this season of BONES.

Believe it or not, SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE Season 4 premieres tonight and I won’t be able to watch it. I’m sick over it, like gagging with a spoon sick over it.

The 2 hour premiere tonight will begin the audition process so I’m not that worried about missing out on my newest SYTYCD TV Boyfriend or on all of the great amazing dancers that will thrill us week to week.

Instead I’ll probably miss out on SEX, Ian Benardo and some other deludinoids and even that makes me sad. I want to see it all!

Will there be another Myles Johnson, or hell will there be Myles Johnson 2.0 – another year older, wiser and now a master of dance? God, I can only hope. Loved that boy just a short 12 months ago…

***I hope that some of you SYTYCD fans will come back tonight and tell me everything that I missed while I was flying across the country. I want to know everything!

Hands down one of the highlights of the mega-bloated AMERICAN IDOL finale. I couldn’t have picked a better pairing for this song. One Republic’s “Apologize” for some reason is a song I don’t get sick of and I’m not tired of little Archie harmonizing with the boys either.

I was on the subway home and thinking about how much I wanted something sweet when I get home. Not kidding, I get home and see a black box with Brenda Lee Johnson on the back eating cookies. I open said black box to find a dozen assorted cookies courtesy of THE CLOSER!

To celebrate Season 4, TNT has sent out sweets and I love them for doing so. We’re on the same wavelength and they’re anticipating my cravings! I hope that they can read my mind right now: “more episodes like Ruby and more creepy serial killers after BLJ please…”

These cookies are never going to tide me over until the premiere of The Closer in July but they’ve got my attention! I think I’ll try the White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookie first! Yummo.

    Gossip Girl on The CW

As I finished watching last night’s finale of GOSSIP GIRL I felt a little bit let down because nothing huge and cramazingly game changing happened but then I sat there and thought, look how much GG accomplished in their freshman season and I knew better.

I checked myself at the door and embraced the brilliance that is Season 1 of Josh SchwartzGossip Girl regardless of whether or not the finale was crazy spectacular.

There are a couple things that made me love the show last night and only one of them is an emotional beat, and before you even ask – no I didn’t cry.

Obviously my favorite moment of the night was watching Blair take Georgina down in such a deliciously dirty way. I was just as stunned as B to see Dan Humphrey get a little dirty in his desire see Georgie fall. How hilarious was it that she called in G’s parents? I thought that hands down it was one of the best ways to ruin that twunt Georgie.

Here’s my problem with that scene though… It was so saucy that I would have loved to have seen more of the actual plotting. Blair is at her best when she is being the crazy bitch we know she can be so to be cheated on all of her devilish dealings makes me a little sad. I’m just sayin’.

I also loved that Chuck Bass is just that… Chuck Bass. It was a great way to end the episode, with him realizing that he cannot be the tamed lame duck version of Chuck Bass and that banging Patty Hearst’s daughter was much more important to his future than spending the summer with Queen B. Call me crazy but I think she’ll be fine; her jump seat aficionado seems like a nice alternative and I’m sure she’ll make the most of it. Go girl!

I also really loved watching Lily and Rufus together. There is such great chemistry between them and I love that somehow, behind closed doors they came to an agreement about the future of their relationship. I’m dying to know what made her decide to go ahead with her marriage with Bart and what made Rufus so happy about the decision. It was a really nice moment and made me want the two of them to come back together again.

Back on the Rufus kick, how cute was Little J’s call to her Daddy? Go Jenny Humphrey for getting a killer internship for the summer working with Blair’s Mommy Dearest. And seriously, Jenny’s on the whim creations are out of control adorable. Makes me sick. What the girl could do if I gave her some pillows to make for my couch. I can only dream.

Finally, I loved how there really was a nice summer vibe to the closing of Season 1. I know that Gossip Girl will be back for Season 2 in August where we’ll get to see the kids partying in the Hamptons so this was a nice way to end the season – gearing us up for some summer fun.

I’ll miss my Gossip Girl but I’m glad that it was such a refreshingly vicious season of television. Kudos Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage - you rocked my world all year and I cannot wait to see what you have up your dirty little sleeves for next year.

PS – In case you’re wondering… I’m so over my love of Penn Badgley.

TVGuide’s biggest Aushole, Michael Ausiello and his cohorts are working on their Dream EMMY Ballot once again and are calling for industry voters to take note!

    Check out their picks:

90210 is in full effect kids, music and all. God I hope it’s more Gossip Girl than it is cheese city. Fingers crossed.
