  1. Gerrie says:

    Hi Ducky.

I know Marquis well as he dances at the studio my daughter attends. He’s a great guy and an awesome dancer and I’m furious his picture isn’t up. Hopefully once he gets some air time people will be able to see how terrific he is!

  2. Ducky says:

I’m sure that we all will Gerrie! Thanks for writing in. I’d also like to clarify that its not that I don’t want to put a picture of Marquis up, it’s that Fox didn’t have one earlier this morning. Same with Shakira there. I’ll keep checking back though and update when it becomes available.

  3. Gerrie says:

Oh I know it’s not you. I just don’t understand why his picture isn’t up. Bad enough that he didn’t get any airtime.

And Ducky – he’s really cute too. Your type of dancer. Hee!

  4. Y says:

Gotta say that Shakira kinds gives me the “no” feeling, so no pic is a not necessarily a bad thing. Am I wrong in saying that there seems to be a lack of diversity – in terms of dance background/expertise – in this year’s top 20? Are there more contemp/lyrical dancers than other seasons? Not a complaint, just an observation. Can’t wait for the show to really kick off next week with all the new routines. :D

  5. Gerrie says:

I have a picture of Marquis I can email if you like. Let me know.

  7. Patty says:

After looking back over the top 20 and thinking about how I felt last ngith at the end of the show – I am really excoted about it this year. I even sent my mom(a dancer) an email explaining the whole show process to her. She is not all about the auditions. Although she watches DWTS so what does she know, right? Anyway, although it seems there is not a lot of diversity, I think (hope) we will be suprised as they start the process next week. Just because you are a contemporary dancer does not mean they are all the same. That’s like calling all hip hop or ballroom all the same. It’s hard to get a feel for them until they are partnered and dance the 1st dance. Personality wise, I am loving Joshua.

  8. Randi says:

Oh man, I was just listening to your podcast and I MUST say that I kept calling Susie Garcia a hot tranny mess all night! That girl had to be a man before! What’s up with her upper lip? She skeeves me out!

  9. haya says:

I dont know how I feel about this top 20… They definitely are not as exciting as last season’s. There aren’t any stand outs like Neil, Pasha, and Lacey last year. I think my favourites are Courtney Galiano and Chris Jarosz, his reaction was so priceless!

Does anyone know whatever happened to Cooper Zamorano?

Can’t wait to hear the podcast!!

  10. Natalie says:

So I just listened to most of your podcast and found myself agreeing with everything you said. Especially Susie Garcia. If she wasn’t a man, she missed a great chance to be.

I’m most upset about Kelli Baker, Cooper Zamorano, and Brandon Bryant not making it.

I hope you can still find an acceptable TV boyfriend this season.
