I can’t wait for the new season to start. Mad Men was one of the top new shows for me last year. AMC really emerged as a strong contender for quality original series with Mad Men and Breaking Bad. And the episode the article refers to was probably my favorite from season 1. The pitch that Don Draper gave for the carousel was absolutely brilliant.

The retro Advertising Age concept was brought to the Crain publication by Initiative, the media, marketing and digital company for Lionsgate, which produces “Mad Men.” Kudos to AdAge for the flawless execution!

The Advertising Age is utter coolness. As a former ad exec and current fan of (and blogger about) Mad Men, it is a feast for the senses. (Well, not for all that many the senses, but, you get it…)

I am beside myself with excitement for Season Two of this endlessly intriguing, never obvious, exceedingly intelligent but never condescending show. With lots of pretty people on it.

    of.

not for all that many “of” the senses.

The special issue of Ad Age is really something else. It makes you feel like you’re part of the show with all the real life articles from the ’60s in the issue. Not to mention one of the smartest promotions I’ve seen in a long time. What do you guys think?
