So You Think You Can Dance Season 4 Week 5 Performance Videos
Posted by: Ducky in Ducky Does TV, Mark Kanemura, Mary Murphy, Mia Michaels, Nigel Lythgoe, So You Think You Can Dance, So You Think You Can Dance Season 4, TwitchLast night the Top 12 performed on SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE and I don’t know if all the cleaning I did coupled with the heat had my head out of the game but I was not the impressed with the majority of the dances last night. Sure there were some standouts that I absoloved.
Hands down the best routine of the night was Katee and Joshua’s Bollywood routine, I mean let’s get real… it was banoodles! I loved Courtney and Gev’s Jazz number and how smokin’ hot was Will and Jessica’s Contemporary?
While I’m positive its time for Comfort Fedoke to gets ta steppin’, I can’t pick any of the guys to send home this week. Thayne is better than any partner he’s had all season so I don’t want to see him go home yet, I think the kid will kill it once he makes it into the Top 10. Gev is a fan fave so I don’t see his little scrawny ass going anywhere anytime soon which leaves us with Twitch, Will, Joshua and Mark. I don’t want to see any of them leave either. Frak, tonight is going to be ugly and for the first time all season I know I’m going to scream at my television.

Alls I can say is that there better be a BOLLYWOOD group dance number!!! I will be sad to see one of the guys go, but unfortunately Thane has to be on the bottom, although clearly he is a great dancer. Comfort will have to “take comfort” in the fact that she will be an alternate on tour.
And…ahh, it’s quite a breath of fresh air to see Pasha again!

I don’t think that Thayne should go home either, but seeing how badly the jidges rated both of their dances, I’m going to bet money that both he and Comfort go home. They were brutal. (Not to mention Mia Michaels’ comments about Jessica…OUCH!)

Just as you said, everyone loves Gev (not sure why), or maybe it is that they love Courtney and that makes him a shoe in???
If it is any of the other guys I will have to go “BUCK” on my TV.

I am too impatient to wait for your update of the results show, so I’m just calling bullshiz on the fact that Twitch wasn’t sent home. He is a one trick pony, and the only reason he was kept around is the cha-ching that Nigel is hearing from the tickets that he will sell for the tour. Sure, his solo was electrifying, but that’s the only time he ever really is electrifying - in his solos. His partner dances have been so lackluster. If there was no tour, I’m guessing Twitch would’ve gotten the boot tonight.
Thayne’s solo was great, and he’s just an all around better partner dancer. He never had a fair shake with the partners he’s had.
I totally wish the judges would’ve shaken things up a little bit - if they didn’t really want to send home a guy and a girl - send 2 girls home. They can choreograph a ton of styles around 2 guys. Look at the Benji & Travis’s hip-hop routine from season 2, or Danny & Neil’s contemporary from season 3. It would’ve been way fairer to get rid of Jessica & Comfort … hell, throw Kherington in while you’re at it.
Gev & Courtney rock my world.

James — LOL! (sorry, I just finally read this…my computer was having issues!) Freudian slip, much?
Can’t wait to see what will happen this week. I’m loving so much of the music that’s been chosen this season. Different Corner by Wham! Awesome! (well, partly I think Mandy Moore just loves her some 80s like I do!)
