Leighton and Blake Fued on 30 Rock

Michael Ausiello promised we’d piddle ourselves with this newsbit and he’s right, I’ve wet myself with laughter at the possibilities of 30 ROCK and GOSSIP GIRL mashup. According to the scooper, Leighton Meester and Blake Lively will guest on a November sweeps episode of the Tina Fey laugher.

The dynamic duo will play — prepare to laugh ’till you piddle — former high school classmates of Liz Lemon’s in a flashback sequence that reveals a shocking and deeply ironic truth about Tina Fey’s morally superior alter ego: She was a Mean Girl!

The Gossip-inspired flashback coincides with Liz’s 20-year high school reunion, which means we’re also going to meet the adult versions of Meester and Lively’s characters. (In a kicky twist, Rock execs are talking to Blake’s older sis, Robyn Lively, about playing the latter part.)

If Robyn Lively does play the older version of her sister, the bitch better bust out in a little “Top That” from the trainwreck Teen Witch!

I don’t know about you but nothing makes me happier on this Friday morning than learning of this crossover. Here’s to hoping that they give Leighton braces and Blake the biggest crispy Jersey mall hair possible! I expect brilliance and will accept nothing less!!!

If you feel like you’ve been bombarded lately by a slew of star-studded ads urging you to StandUp2Cancer – then get the frak up and pay attention.

Tonight ABC, CBS, NBC and E! will all air the StandUp2Cancer Special which aims at raising cancer awareness and money as a show of solidarity by the networks. Katie Couric, Brian Williams and Charlie Gibson will co-host the one-hour event tonight at 8pm.

Set to appear: Salma Hayek, Scarlett Johansson, Lance Armstrong, America Ferrera, Meryl Streep, Charlize Theron, Forest Whitaker, Jessica Alba, Halle Berry, Jack Black, Sheryl Crow, Ellen DeGeneres, Jennifer Garner, Diane Keaton, Dana Delany, Rob Lowe, Sharon Osbourne, Keanu Reeves, Carrie Underwood, Mariah Carey, Beyoncé, Mary J. Blige and Rihanna.

Cancer is something that hits closer to my home than most of you know and as much as I fight to raise awareness and funds for AIDS, this is just as important. To learn more about StandUp2Cancer check out their website.

    Ducky’s Fall TV Preview: Friday’s Schedule 2008

Friday’s are clear. FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS will be airing at some point over on DirecTV which is bullshit if you’re asking me but what can ya do? I’m not a DTV subscriber and I’ll have to wait until Winter to see what those Dillon Panthers are up to. Oh who am I kidding. Bittorrents all the way!

Even though I don’t have it hilighted above, there’s a small possibility that I’ll watch THE EX-LIST. I’ve always really liked Elizabeth Reaser (on film not so much on Grey’s) and as we all know, Veronica Mars scribe Diane Ruggiero is behind the project and that’s a good thing. Plus, now that I think about it – I kinda dig Rachel Boston too so chances are good that I’ll at least tune in once or twice.

    Enjoy your weekend.
