The TV Talk Podcast with GMMR and Ducky finally tackles more of your listener and reader questions!

First up we tackle the mid-season shows we’re looking forward to (including returning faves): Dollhouse, Cupid, Castle, Leverage, Truth in Advertising, Lost, 24, Battlestar Galactica, Damages, Nip/Tuck.

Don’t forget that some of our favorite summer shows finish off their runs as well… we’re talking The Closer, Burn Notice and My Boys to name a few.

Want to know the fate of Scrubs and The CW’s Reaper and if/when they’ll return? We’ve got the scoop.

What about the DirecTV/NBC split of the amazing Friday Night Lights – are we watching and if so what do we think? First of all, don’t question our loyalty to the Dillon Panthers; Second, just listen.

How did our favorite shows hold up during November sweeps? We’ll cover everything from Heroes to Chuck, Supernatural to The Office so get ready for our picks of the best and worst of fall sweeps, stunts and special guests.

This week Pushing Daisies was canceled – Kath and I give our thoughts. RIP!

So what else could we possibly talk about? Is scaredy-cat Kath watching HBO’s True Blood? What’s the deal with the Arrested Development movie? Why is Tricia Helfer the go-to-gal for guest starring roles and oh sweet lord, why does Britney’s have another reality show?

Last but not least we have another game for you all to play along with at home! This episode we’re breaking hearts and creating our most interesting ’ship!

Oh and you’ll never believe this but in a TV Talk first, we talk about One Tree Hill… WTF?

Ducky: Bitch Please

It seems that lately I’ve had less and less time to blog about much of anything which bums me out. I used to love blogging about TV and for some time now it’s seemed like such a chore and a disappointment because I can’t do what I want to do with this here bloggy blog.

Would I love to write long analytic posts about how mind blowingly cramazing Mad Men is? Sure. Would I love to wax poetic about this season of Supernatural? As Sarah Palin would say, “you betcha”. Would I love to engage the readers in fun lists or games or anything to get people chatting? Certainly, but the truth is I don’t have the time or the energy lately.

I’m pondering the future of the blog and how to have a voice as a fan of all things television. The TV Talk Podcast with GMMR and Ducky is a blast and you’ve all been rock stars about listening so maybe I’ll focus more energy toward that or maybe even into a vlog. Who knows.

Right now I can say this… I love watching TV and I love the incredible perks I’ve received from having a blog that you guys have been so cool about reading. While I’m super busy doing a million other things I wanted to just at least keep you guys posted and acknowledge that I haven’t been posting much.

You all rule and I’ll be back shortly…

TV Talk Podcast with GMMR and Ducky is back and sadly, the listener question podcast will have to wait another week because we decided to have a TV Bloggers Party instead!

This week, Kath and Dan are joined by two of their favorite blogging buddies Rae from http://www.RamblingsofaTVWhore.com and Amrie from http://www.MyTakeOnTV.com

Instead of doing our normal podcast we decided to have a late night girl talk about the shows that got us interested in television as kids, our first TV crushes and anything that popped into our sick little minds.

Hopefully you find us entertaining instead of annoying. Play along at home and share your favorite childhood TV moments in the comments section below!

Like many of you Keith Olbermann is an awesome kind of dude that helped get you through the long ass election process. He and Rachel Maddow are pretty much gods in my opinion and this video only helps confirm it.

Here Olbermann gives one of the most passionate and articulate commentary on the sad state of America given that California was able to pass Proposition 8 which bans gay marriage in California.

I’d totally tap that!

SUPERNATURAL’s 4th season continues to creep, scare and chuckle its way into greatness and next week’s episode entitled “I Know What You Did Last Summer” delivers on a promise we’ve been waiting for all season.

We know that while Dean was away (you know, in hell and all), Sam had to play by his own rules… but what exactly happened in those four months and why is Ruby his newest ally? We’ll find out shortly…

Check out the first preview clips for Supernatural’s “I Know What You Did Last Summer”

Episode Summary:
SAM AND DEAN MEET ANNA, A GIRL WHO CAN HEAR THE ANGELS — Ruby (guest star Genevieve Cortese) tells Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) that a powerful demon named Alastair (guest star Mark Rolston) is searching for a girl named Anna (guest star Julie McNiven) who can hear the angels’ conversations. The three set out to find Anna but once they do, Alastair attacks them and Ruby escapes with the girl. Believing they were set up, Dean lashes out at Sam for trusting Ruby, so Sam tells him what happened during those months Dean was in Hell and how Ruby saved his life. Castiel (guest star Misha Collins) and Uriel (guest star Robert Wisdom) return and demand to be taken to Anna but not for the reason Dean thinks. Charles Beeson directed the episode written by Sera Gamble

Episode Pictures:

It’s been a fronzen donkey wheel’s turn since LOST has been on my television and I’m getting antsy for Season 5 to premiere.

Thankfully, ABC has finally released the date for the Lost Season 5 three-hour premiere: Wednesday, January 21st at 8pm.

I’m ashamed to admit that I’m a week behind on SUPERNATURAL but don’t worry, I’ll catch up before tonight’s episode entitled “Wishful Thinking”.

Episode Synopsis: Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) investigate a small town where the wishing well really works. A teddy bear comes to life, someone wins the lottery and the town geek gets a hot girlfriend. The brothers realize that while everyone is happy now, the end result will be disastrous. Robert Singer directed the episode written by Ben Edlund

Episode Previews:

Even though DOLLHOUSE doesn’t premiere until sometime in 2009 the rumor mill and online fan base have kept the series on the forefront of my Joss Whedon loving mind lately.

Here is the newest trailer for DOLLHOUSE

*Thanks GMMR for the tip

I’m the lamest Obama supporter on earth. I started falling asleep last night around 8:30pm and was in and out until 11pm when the networks went bonkers, proclaiming Barack Obama as the 44th President of the United States of America. I was barely awake for that excitement and I made it through part of McCain’s concession speech before passing out again.

I never got to see THE MAN give his speech and that’s just pathetic… I realize this. Sorry, I was tired. This morning I felt so lame for missing out on something so monumental but I’ll survive.

If you’re like me and missed out on all the Obama victory speech goodness, here’s your chance to watch his speech in all it’s glory.

God I love me some Rachel Maddow! Voters Beware…
