*Update: Just now the BBC announced that MATT SMITH (IMDB info) will take over Time Lord duties from David Tennant. Everyone welcome our 11th Doctor and tell me what you think about their choice - if you want.
He’s 26, the youngest to play the Doctor and he kinda looks like the guy from Mask or maybe a lion? This might take some getting used to because its so not what I expected. Glad the wait is over though.

Tomorrow (Saturday, January 3rd) the BBC will announce the 11th incarnation of DOCTOR WHO and I can’t stand the anticipation.
I’ve tried to not put much stock in the choices that have been batted around because I don’t want to think of one actor being better than the other as a replacement for the irreplaceable David Tennant but the inevitable will happen, I realize this. A new Doctor will be chosen and we’ll see how I feel about it after the announcement - in the meantime I need pills or something to cope with the loss.
I believe if my math is correct that at 12:35pm (EST) it will be revealed so some time after that I should have updated this post. Come back tomorrow to see who the new Doctor is!

I’m looking forward to a new doctor. While I didn’t mind this one, this one had too much action. The ones where he wasn’t in it tended to be my favorites. He was a good doctor, just not one of my favorites.

Wow, still trying to process the fact that we’re getting a new Doctor. I’m sure Matt Smith will do a good job, but I’m totally going to miss David Tennant. Maybe I’ll start mourning now…
