The 66th Annual Golden Globes just ended and it wasn’t as horrible as it could have been… that’s a plus! We got to see Darren Aronofsky flip the bird, some bird-like brit scream “fuck”, Colin Farrell say balls about 50 times, the simply adorable Sally Hawkins scored a much deserved comedy win, Kate Winslet won for Revolutionary Road (much deserved) and Slumdog killed it.
Somehow Anna Paquin won for True Blood which is just bizarre because her portrayal of Sookie Stackhouse is one of the most annoying things on television. Oh yeah most importantly, Mad Men and 30 Rock took their rightful places as the kings and queens of television!
