If you’ve ever seen the original 1975 GREY GARDENS documentary by the Maysles Brothers then you know these two women were bat-shit crazy and amazing creatures to watch on film.
I never saw the production on Broadway but I heard it was incredible as well.
There’s just something so intriguing about the Mother/Daughter Edie duo that keeps us coming back to their story which is why HBO Films got in the mix. This time, Drew Barrymore and Jessica Lange fill their eccentric shoes, hats and head wraps.
