These DEXTER Season 4 promos and posters are making me wanna catch up on the show I gave up on half way through Season 3. I don’t know what it was about the Miguel Prado storyline that bored me but it wasn’t moving fast enough and I was dreading the direction Dexter and Darla Rita’s relationship was heading and baby’s always ruin everything so I stopped watching…

I obviously need to pick up where I left off because the addition of Lithgow as America’s most successful serial killer has me very very intrigued!

I find it hard to believe THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA will be able to top this fight featuring Sheree and her “Top Level Executive” Party Planner. It is super fierce and I can’t stop watching!

I wonder few things… Who enters a party in a helicopter? Who asks to respect their “top”? Who is this Pookie with the ass whuppin’ skills? and finally… How do you check a boo?

Genius!

The Top 6 from SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE Season 5 performed which means Kath and Dan are back for another podcast. With each contestant performing 4 routines, there’s plenty to talk about.

There’s a quickstep, some disco action, a cramazing contemporary routine, some not so amazing hip-hop and some banoodles solo numbers.

We spy on Kath’s new neighbor; we ponder the likeness of a certain contestant to a certain vampire on TRUE BLOOD; we complain about some choreographers; we forget some choreographers names and probably put our feet in our mouths more than once!

A week from the finale, we also discuss how this season has played out, our feelings about the results so far and declare who the winner of SYTYCD Season 5 should be.

Yet another panel I missed out on this year at Comic-Con…

GLEE Premiere Picture

GLEEKS UNITE! The GLEE Hot Topic Tour officially has dates and I’m happy to report that our own city of Boston is the 1st stop on the tour! Surely GMMR and I will be spreading the good word between now and August 17th because we want to kick this 10 city tour off with a bang! Make sure you do the same for your town.

So what’s this Gleek Tour all about? Well, here’s the skinny:

Cast members Cory Monteith, Lea Michele, Amber Riley, Chris Colfer, Jenna Ushkowitz, Kevin McHale, Dianna Agron and Mark Salling will make appearances to sign autographs, hold Q&A sessions and give fans a sneak peek at the new season of GLEE.

That means this is your chance to get up close and personal with the kids of McKinley High’s Glee Club! If you’re a fan of Lea Michele from SPRING AWAKENING how can you pass up the opportunity to ask her about that Momma Who Bore her? When else will you get the chance to see my jailbait TV crush Cory Monteith in the flesh? What about the hilarious Amber Riley, Chris Colfer and Kevin McHale?

Push the Jack Skellington shirts aside, burn the studded wrist bands in every aisle and knock over that Manic Panic display – whatever it takes kids… Don’t Stop Believin’! Get thee to a Hot Topic!

If you’re not a fan of our SYTYCD podcasts, then you’re in luck! This week we’re back with a regular TV Talk Podcast with GMMR and Ducky. We decided to dedicate a lot of time to our other favorite summer obsession, TRUE BLOOD. We talk all things vamptastic and if you’re a fan of the show we’ve got questions we need answers to so pay attention and leave comments.

Next up is BIG BROTHER 11. After that, we talk a little bit about the amazing return of TORCHWOOD: CHILDREN OF EARTH and its shocking 5 night mini-series.

Last, we talk about all things COMIC-CON 2009. What panels we missed (CHUCK, BIG BANG THEORY, GLEE, LOST, DOLLHOUSE, SUPERNATURAL and more), which shows had the most impressive online presence and all the news/gossip that came out of the con.

After last year’s Comic-Con I was worn out, my flight to and from San Diego had been canceled and rescheduled, I was ready to slap anyone wearing a costume and I may or may not have made a commitment then and there to not attend this year. My partner in crime, Kath from Give Me My Remote felt the same way and so we went about our year not planning on returning to San Diego for 2009.

When I was laid off, the decision seemed like perfection. I would have less money for one and if I got a new job, chances were it would be closer to the Con and I wouldn’t have the time off available to me that I’ve had in the past. Obvious, right?

Flash-forward to the middle of July and I start regretting my decision. I’m still unemployed and with the Press Pass and a probable free flight I started wondering why the frak I didn’t go. The answer was simple though, I was competing in my first triathlon and that was Comic-Con weekend. It was a distraction for the actual weekend but not the time leading up to and during the start of SDCC09.

Once all of my blogger friends, PR folks from the networks and shows started plotting their schedules, the interviews, the press rooms, etc. I really started to have mini-panic attacks that I would be missing out on all the fun and yes, even the chaos.

Here are the things I’ll have missed most about not having been at Comic-Con this past weekend:

  • My friends/comrades in all things Con (esp. Rae, Amrie, Holly, Winson, Susan, Jen G. and my girl Moira)
  • Being in a hotel for 5 nights but only for a couple hours of sleeping and lots of laughing our asses off.
  • Our annual trip to Bucca!
  • The Press Rooms (its always fun to have some alone time with my fave TV stars/writers/creators)
  • People watching, esp. seeing all the people in costumes!
  • Making fun of people!
  • Eating only one not-so-square meal a day
  • Jockeying for positions (though I don’t miss that at the same time)
  • Walking the floor or rather hanging out atop the floor in the WB lounge.
  • The GLEE panel and my chance to rape Cory Monteith’s face!
  • Seeing David Tennant at the Doctor Who panel. The one year I don’t go his ass shows up…
  • The Torchwood panel
  • The True Blood panel (after last years snore fest, I hear this year was much better)
  • The Supernatural panel and meeting Mischa Collins (I will always regret that one)
  • The Big Bang Theory gang (last year they were so fun both in press and panel)
  • Zachary Quinto (in any shape/form)
  • The Nightmare on Elm Street panel
  • The Prisoner redux panel
  • Jeffster performance and the Chuck panel (though I bet GMMR is more upset than I – seeing how she got a shout out and all)
  • Cheese Sticks
  • The New Moon panel (yes, I said it)
  • Waiting in that ridonk Starbucks line
  • The Middleman panel (and the hotness that is Matt Kesslar)
  • The Caprica panel
  • The final Lost panel
  • Obviously the list could go on for days but off the top of my head these are the things that annoyed me while I was at home all weekend. There are more online friends and PR people that I didn’t give a shout out to but I would have loved to hang with all of you as well and maybe next year we’ll be back in full swing! SDCC2010 or Bust!

    *sigh*

I’ve been waiting foreeeeeeeeeever for some actual footage of AMC’s remake of the classic (and cramazing) TV series THE PRISONER. While I’m a little iffy on the updates and the new “village”, I love the concept and Ian McKellen’s performance in this preview is incredible.

Oh, who am I kidding? I’m sold… hand me a number!

Watch the extended preview of AMC’s remake of THE PRISONER:

THE PRISONER will premiere on AMC this November!

Last year I almost jizzed myself when the extended DEXTER Season 3 preview flashed across the screens at Comic-Con and it pains me to not be there to witness it again this year.

Here in all its glory is the exclusive Comic-Con DEXTER Season 4 preview. It looks dark as sin!

SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE celebrated its 100th episode by reuniting a ton of alums, working out some killer encore performances, having Katie Holmes sing and dance a spell and then reality kicked in sending two more dancers home.

In the latest SYTYCD TV Talk Podcast, Kath and Dan are joined by their weekly viewing partners in crime Jess, Whit and Heather! We’ll warn everyone now, we’re all a little punchy after the sad sad elimination and our special SYTYCD cake had us all on a little sugar high. Yes, we had a 100th episode SYTYCD cake… jealous much?

Wondering who went home last night? Wondering if I screamed bloody murder? Love it or hate it, SYTYCD continues and so does the TV Talk Podcast!

Last night solidified what I’d been slowly figuring out all season, that the Season 5 finale of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE should be a showdown between Jason and Kayla.

The two videos from last night’s Top 8 performance episode are all the proof you need to know my gay ass is right on target!

    Jason and Kayla’s Broadway Routine:

    Jason and Kayla’s Hip-Hop Routine:

*These videos keep getting removed from YouTube but I’m doing my best to catch it and replace them when someone else posts.

**UPDATE: If you watched last nights 100th episode, then you know I let out a scream of all screams when not only were they in the Bottom 2 but that Jason was eliminated. Damn shame.

The Top 8 performed on SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE and once again Kath and Dan are back to talk everything good, bad and droopy eyed.

We ponder whether or not guest judge Ellen DeGeneres was a necessary addition to the show and more importantly if a backstory can manipulate the audience to the point that it corrupts the purpose of the show.

To listen to this week’s Top 8 SYTYCD Performance podcast, head on over to our TV Talk Podcast site.

I’m hanging at the beach so I still haven’t seen all of last week’s SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE but come hell or cargo shorts, there was no way I was missing my one time TV Boyfriend Travis Wall’s choreography debut!

I’m not gonna lie, it brought a little gay tear to my eye – the routine is that beautiful! Also, how amazing is it to see my baby all grows up? Travis Wall, this routine was cramazing!

As promised, Kath and I sit down and answer a bunch of listener questions, laugh our asses off and talk the hell out of all things TV!
