If you follow me on Twitter, you saw that last week I watched the Season 2 premiere of FRINGE and the episode blew my frakkin’ mind. I cannot wait for everyone to see what happened after Olivia met you know who…

FRINGE was a show that sort of snuck up on me last season. While I loved the premiere and enjoyed the characters have never really classified myself as a die hard fan. Then the show went on their winter hiatus, came back and kicked my ass! Suddenly the show was creepier, gorier and the mythology was expanding in ways I never expected. If you’re a fan of sci-fi especially X-FILES and LOST then you owe it to yourself to catch up on Season 1!

That’s why I’m happy to give away a copy of FRINGE: The Complete First Season on Blu-ray!

How to Enter:
First, head on over to Warner Bros’ new Blu-ray Facebook page, because we’re all about spreading the social media love.

Second, in the comments section tell me your favorite episode of FRINGE and why! Don’t forget the “and why”! It’s that simple.

Contest Deadline:
This contest ends on Wednesday, September 16th at 11:59pm. One winner will be notified and faster than Walter can forget Astrid’s name, you’ve won Fringe: The Complete First Season on Blu-ray.

Here’s a glimpse of the Gag Reel included on the Blu-ray box set. Gotta love a good gag reel!

FRINGE Season 2 premieres Thursday, September 17th at 9pm on FOX!

I always feel like I shouldn’t enter these things but screw that… I never get free DVDs in the mail and I actually want this one! HA.

Anyway, favorite episode…I really like both “The Road Not Taken” and “There’s One More of Everything” but I think “Ability” was my favorite.

I’m going to say the episode “Ability” is one of my favorites. Maybe because it sticks out in my mind as being absolutely messed up while still revealing crucial details about Olivia’s childhood trials. The visual of the victims facial orifices close over was terrifying and stuck with me for quite awhile. Creeptastic! We finally get to see more of a bond between Peter and Olivia when she has to diffuse the bomb and as a bonus, we get the ZFT manuscript revelation with Walter.
(I just bought a bluray player, and don’t have any bluray discs yet, so please Ducky, pick me!)

I really love all the episodes because of two words joshua jackson. He is awesome and adorable!!

  4. Kyle says:

Holy crap–I’d love to win this. I don’t really have a favorite episode–I guess the pilot–the old guy is hilarious. Hard to believe he was that king in LOTR.

While I enjoyed most of the episodes my favorite one was The Ghost Network because of the strange event that needed to be solved. The Bus filled with the strange substance that sort of froze everyone in their place. I thought that was so cool. I was hooked after that, this is the 3rd episode, I was still trying to get a feel for the characters and the show and trying to get used to the fact that it was set in Boston but as a resident I know it is not and that always bothered me slightly. This sold me, who came up with that it is brilliant!!

I love Walter the most, but my favorite episode is “Bound”. Olivia gets kidnapped but it wasn’t one of those long drawn out rescues that I feared it would be. She frees herself rather quickly, smartly stashes some evidence, and the rest of the episode was spent dealing with the ongoing plot threads.

  7. Jessica says:

It is tough to pick one, but I will have to say Bad Dreams, just because I have weird dreams a lot.

  8. David S says:

Can’t wait for Fringe to come back!

My favorite episode would be “Bad Dreams’ because Akiva Goldsman is one of my favorite writers and this episode gave us an inside look into Olivia’s psyche and had great creative visuals. I feel Fringe hit it’s stride with this episode (ep 17) and it was non-stop awesome until the shocking season finale cliffhanger.

  9. Raked says:

I have to say the pilot. It drew me into the show for a reason. Having Olivia’s boyfriend completely turn a 180 on her was just incredible, and it set everything in motion so well.

    Thanks for offering the contest!

I really enjoyed the moment, I think it was in the last episode, where Walter had run off to the old family beach house. Peter went to find him there, and they shared a touching moment that will probably be even more devastating to remember when the truth about Peter comes out in Season 2.
