I think you summed it up–all of the above–it’s the characters. I like the blend of comedy, action and drama. USA seems to have a knack for finding great shows that combine all 3. Is it bad that I want to win the prize for myself?

Matthew Bomer as Neal makes me forget that he played Bryce Larkin. Which is good, because I HATE Bryce Larkin.

Love this set so much, my husband would suit this verry well

Matt Bomer’s eyes are a good reason I love to watch White Collar, but the reason I continue to watch is the chemistry between Neal and Peter. They are yin and yang, one trying to be better while having fun, one trying to be a little more impulsive while still adhering to moral guidelines — they balance each other perfectly.

I have to agree with Ducky, it’s Matt Bomer all the way. The things I would do to that boy?

Ducky is the word, and Matt Bomer is so amazingly HOT and talented. I’ve never been so into a series as I am with White Collar – so well done and always keeping me on my toes. Diahann Caroll and Tiffany Thiessen back on the tele so fun. Tiff has seriously grown as an actor! Matt Bomer, you can rock my word any time babe!!!!

Its a prime example of the whole being greater than the sum of its parts. Each actor in this show has something to give, and does a great job of doing so, but at the same time lends themselves to boost the performance of their piers. The blend gives us a great show that is fun to watch, but not corny or totally predictable. Good stuff!

White Collar is awesome because it’s on USA, and everything they do is amazing. I mean, it’s hilarious at the moment you least expect it, but still gripping and dramatic. I hate having to wait a week in between episodes.

Neal’s conning skills are so sharp that it’s sexy!

I love this show because Neal and Peter work well together. Neal is a Macgyver of mind tricks. Great writing!

You ask: Is it Bomer’s smile? Peter and Neal’s damn near butter chemistry? Is it Tiffani Theissen’s refusal to let her character be anything less than charming? Is it Stanford Blatch Willie Garson’s snarky snarkerton?
I say yes, yes, yes! But if I had to pick one thing, it would be the great chemistry between the two male leads. YUM!!!

The God’s honest truth? I watch this show because the character interaction between Neal and Peter is strictly amazing.
Both actors give you a pleasant taste on your tongue for the entire 60-minute duration and the after taste is just as sweet as the meal. You’re concerned about the possibility of a questioned trust and smiling when you gather the faith in their partnership that they may never break apart. The very fact that I find myself conjuring such feelings is a huge compliment to the men portraying them. Bravo!
I enjoy Neal’s passive aggressive nature toward Peter, and Peter’s mannerisms of an impressed teenage boy looking up to the man he’s working with. Neal pulls off puppy-dog eyes and Peter just kind of sighs at it and relents. My toes can help but curl when they’re sitting together and just talking, because I find those moments to be some of the best.
Characters are the most important function in a show, because you can write the greatest story with the most fantastic ideas and plots the world has ever heard, but if you can’t allow a moment of human interaction, as in a relationship between character and viewer, then who is really going to sit there and care about what is happening to these people?
The actors create amazing and entertaining art with the writers that are handing them their scripts.
So that is why I love it.

I love the characters! My favourite scenes are those with Peter, Elizabeth, and Neal–in any combination. Also, Neal’s amazing wardrobe really doesn’t hurt. At all.

The banter between Neal and Peter always leaves me in stitches. The whole show is made up of lovely, three-dimensional characters; the supporting cast is just as entertaining as the two leads. Plus, I love the wardrobe. Every girl’s crazy ’bout a sharp-dressed man!

It’s definitely Matt Bomer and his chemistry with Tim DeKay!

I love this show because the characters are so entertaining! I love the interaction between them all. And Tiffani is my favorite actress for so many years. I am so happy to see her on this show in the role of Elizabeth. Love her character. All the stars are doing an amazing job.

I love White Collar because Matt Bomer looks ridiculously attractive in that hat. And his witty banter is hysterical.

Unlike many of my friends, I’m really picky about the TV shows I watch. I want them to be deeper than those “chick” shows yet still have romance, be full of action and comedy, and have well-rounded characters. And guess what – White Collar has it all! USA has always been one of my favorite networks, but I was a bit skeptical the first time I saw the trailers for White Collar this past summer. I’m not sure why, but although I was curious, I wasn’t exactly interested in watching a new show. However, I was more than pleasantly surprised after viewing the pilot. I was hooked. Okay, I admit that Matt Bomer’s eyes played a significant part in drawing me in, but it was also due to the original storyline, fantastic actors, and the on-screen chemistry. I always look forward to seeing Neal and Peter interact! I was also very impressed with the deep pasts that the characters had from the very beginning. I love the entire Kate storyline. I’m a sucker for “lost” and “forbidden” love, after all. All I can really say is White Collar is definitely becoming my favorite TV show. Heck, it probably already is.

OMG! What reason would you not watch? Matt is hot who wouldn’t want to make him forget Kate! Tim is the perfect good guy! Tiffani makes us all want to marry the good guy and plan events for other people. Willie makes quirky hot! I have gotten every one I know to watch the show and they are hooked! I started watching it by myself then I got my 20 year old daughter to watch, then my husband. The day I convinced my 15 year old to watch all the episodes that are on the DVR I couldn’t pull her away and she is totally smitten with Matt! We now watch it as a family. No matter what is going on we all stop what we are doing to watch! So the way I see it there is no reason not to watch and not to get everyone you know to watch it!

I would have to say Neal all the way. I love the dynamic between Neal and Peter, but for me Matt Bomer makes this show what it is. I don’t think it would be as good without him. He is the reason I watch every week 1000%!

Matt Bomer’s Neal Caffrey is an incredible engaging and multi dimensional character and his relationships with the characters on the show, especially Peter, Moz, and Elizabeth are always interesting and most time entertaining to watch.

I love the dynamic between Neal and Peter. They’re great on screen together!
February 2nd, 2010 at 10:53 pm
It’s Willie Garson. For sure.
I love all the characters-their chemistry, intriguing back stories, and the stories I know they are going to tell. And Matt Bomer isn’t bad to look at.

I think I’m attracted to the writing. This show could have gone down the cliché path that most “cop” shows take but they’ve done a really good job of weaving an interesting tale into the back story. Of course, having a super cute actor play the lead definitely helps to keep me coming back week after week.
February 3rd, 2010 at 9:23 pm
I’d have to say that its Willie Garson who really makes the show for me. I just love him!

When I saw the first ads for White Collar with Matt’s sly/shy smile and his blue, blue eyes, I HAD to watch the show – I didn’t even care about the plot!!

I love the smart writing!
