If you barely survived our bookcasts, don’t worry, we’re back to TV Talk-ing. We met up for an impromptu, late-night carcast and we’re in rare form. That’s right, we’re talking TV with the danger of asphyxiation. You know that’s something you want to hear!

Highlights:

  • Kath went to the mall (or the airport) with Colby Smolders.
  • Kath drew the attention of a security guard and calls a girl a stretched midge.
  • Ducky’s loves Beaver… No, that can’t be right!
  • Ducky educates y’all on the age of consent in Pennsylvania.
  • Find out which TV star is packing on the lbs in our opinion.
  • We’ve coined “Veggiesauce”
  • For some reason we talk about Two and a Half Men, what’s happening to us?
  • Kath questions the chances of us dying during this podcast.
  • Is it “Got VD?” or “Catch Wood!”
  • Fuck You Ryan Murphy
  • Paley reunites Freaks & Geeks and the Scupltadorescrew!
  • Shows covered in this episode: How I Met Your Mother, Chuck, Greek, Pretty Little Liars, The Good Wife, Jersey Shore, Top Chef, An Idiot Abroad, American Idol, Modern Family, The Office, Parks & Recreation, Big Bang Theory, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Supernatural, Megapython & Gatoroid, Dexter, Breaking Bad, Episodes, Shameless

We’ve been promising it for months, and finally, we sat down to talk about the book series that turned us into instant fanboys and fangirls.

Welcome to TWO IDIOTS TALK THE HUNGER GAMES TRILOGY!

The way we approached this was the same way we approach all of our podcasts, on the fly and with little to no preparation. Both of us finished the series a couple months ago so what you’re about to hear are two friends sitting down to rehash the series, who got us into the books, how and why we became so obsessed and why we’ve recommended these to everyone we know.

There is no outline, no script, no plot points, no nothing, so you can imagine the shit show you’re about to listen to. Half the time we can’t remember which plot points happened in which book, character names are almost always forgotten and the tangents are out of control. Do you expect anything less from us idiots? No one ever said we were readers…

Sit back, grab your bow and arrow, and enjoy the reaping.

Listen to Part 1 | Listen to Part 2

See, we told you it was a shit-show.

You know how I tend to have a little bit of an obsessive personality? Cleaning, bitching, maintaining order in lines, TV… Well this week there was something that has just completely taken over my existence so I thought I’d share it with you.

    Brenda Dickson
I realize I’m a year or two behind on this one (hey, I never said I was on top of things), but this week I discovered the genius that is the Brenda Dickson video dub. While I’m not a fan of most viral videos (or people trying to be cute, clever, or funny on youtube), a couple of these BDick vids have completely won me over. I’m talking laugh out loud, red in the face, tears streaming down my windblown apple cheeks hilarious.

How can I not love something that has brought the following soundbites into my everyday life? Go ahead, use them in conversation today, I encourage it.

    “Snackatarium”
“Look at how big my vajeene looks! It’s a huge vajeene, I’ve even had to underline it.”
“My shirt just threw up on my head!”
“You know what I like about your lips? Nothing… but their sheer stupidity!”
“She just spent a night with a pirate… nice beard!”
“I can’t see your big ass because of your small waist!”
‎”This means whore! Could you be more rapey?”

Behold my two favorite videos of the week. Enjoy this 80’s jazzercising, foul-mouthed, big haired, pirate loving viral vixen.

The accent, the cadence of speech, the evil bitchiness… it’s all too ridiculous and perfect. I don’t know who voices her in these dubs but I’d like to wear their beard.

I will admit that I’ve only watched these two videos (about 45 times each) and I’m afraid to watch any of the others because frankly, these two are divine. I don’t want to taint (teehee) the BDick.

PS – don’t google image her (let the 80’s perm and pirate regalia live in your memory forever).

    Until next time…

Kath and I have always known that we have crazy awesome TV Talk Podcast listeners but now, these crazy fuckers have taken to brand new heights of awesomeness.

It all started with a little animation about a certain Thanksgiving rant. I love love love Peanuts, especially their holiday episodes. However, I fucking hate Peppermint Patty and how twunty she gets during the Thanksgiving episode. It was a big hit in the comments, on Twitter and Facebook. Who knew? Well, I didn’t realize how much of an impact it made until this gem surfaced.

I have to say that I look quite dashing as an Einstein type. Bwahahahaha.

Next came a song… yes, a song! During one of our podcasts, we talked about a particularly disgusting episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta where they talked about sticking sugar in your nana. The always genius NeNe made some brilliant remarks and on the podcast, Kath coined the term Sugar Snatch! We laughed for hours… then a song landed in my inbox. I nearly blew my wad.

    Sugar Snatch! (mp3 version):

We thought the embarrassment of riches was over… I mean, one can only handle so much ego inflation.

This afternoon however, I was proved wrong. Today we got another genius animation.

I have to say… Listener Tiffany has once again outdone herself with that gem. It makes me wonder if somewhere, there’s a full size stand up of Kath and I in Tiffany’s living room. God I hope not so!

Thanks to Tiff and all of our amazing listeners for 4 amazing years of TV Talk Podcast! You guys and gals rule.
