It’s been 7 weeks since our last podcast and 7 weeks since we last saw each other. You totally thought GMMR and Ducky had called it quits didn’t you? How dare you…

An extended gig in the Hamptons originally sidelined the podcast, then a horrible back injury kept this terrible TV twosome apart until now!

For our first big podcast of the Fall, we thought we’d make up for lost time with a huge 2 hour 10 minute carcast full of laughs, tears, a near death experience and even some New England leaf peeping!

    Shows covered in this podcast:

HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, BIG BANG THEORY, GOSSIP GIRL, HOUSE, SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE, THE BIGGEST LOSER, THE GOOD WIFE, V, GLEE, MODERN FAMILY, COUGAR TOWN, TOP CHEF, FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS, FLASH FORWARD, THE VAMPIRE DIARIES, BONES, SUPERNATURAL, FRINGE, THE OFFICE, PARKS & RECREATION, 30 ROCK, COMMUNITY, GREY’S ANATOMY, PRIVATE PRACTICE, UGLY BETTY, DOLLHOUSE, SOUTHLAND, WHITE COLLAR, THE AMAZING RACE, SURVIVOR, DEXTER, MAD MEN and GREEK.

We hope you enjoy our ode to Fall TV so far this season and hope you’ll join in the conversation. Leave your thoughts on what we covered in the comments section of this post! We’d love to hear what you’ve got to say about the new Fall lineup.

Glee Cast - Promo Shot

GLEE officially kicks off its first season tonight at 9pm on FOX!

Whatever you do, please do not miss the most refreshing comedy of the season - GLEE is cramazing and not to be missed!

*For more information on the premiere, check out the first 30 minutes of the latest TV Talk Podcast which features our thoughts on the upcoming episodes and has some interviews with the cast of Glee!

“Showmance” picks up where the pilot we all watched last May ended. New Directions, the McKinley High Glee Club, is still the little engine that could… dodging slushies, dumpsters and port-a-potties in every effort to be part of something special.

Rachel and Finn are growing closer (hence the title) and it’s far from pleasing his girlfriend (head Cheerio) Quinn Fabray. Sue Sylvester (the always genius Jane Lynch) continues to make it her sole mission to bring Mr. Schuester (Matthew Morrison) and his band of freaks to their knees.

Look for hookups, jealousy and obviously singing! “Showmance” officially sold me on Jayma Mays‘ comedy skills and it also endeared me to the Queen Bee, Quinn Fabray! Just wait and see…

Unless you live in a bubble, you’ve probably already downloaded some of the songs from tonight’s premiere. The club tackles “Gold Digger” by Kanye West, “Take a Bow” from Rihanna and “Push It” by Salt ‘N Pepa plus my favorite of the night starring my girl Dianna Argon (Quinn Fabray) which I refuse to spoil (and I’m shocked FOX hasn’t already). If I’m being completely honest here, I didn’t even know “Gold Digger” or “Take a Bow” - I was hoping that “Take a Bow” was going to be the Madonna ballad from the 90s. Hilarious! I’m so out of touch…

I’ve only watched “Showmance” twice since I’ve had the screener and that’s not because I didn’t love it - it’s because I can’t stop watching the episode that will air September 25th “Preggers”. That episode is beyond genius and I cannot wait for everyone to witness the brilliance that is Chris Colfer (Kurt)!

Catch the premiere of GLEE (”Showmance”) right after the premiere of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE Season 6 only on FOX.

If you’re a hardcore GLEEK, don’t be caught dead at school tomorrow without your “I’m a Gleek” t-shirt!

Glee Cast - Promo Shot

If you somehow missed the GLEE pilot last May when it aired on FOX, tonight is your chance to catch up on all the hullabaloo!

GLEE: The Director’s Cut, includes deleted scenes and at least one deleted musical number which I could not believe was cut from the screener pilot I saw weeks before.

Keep a look out for a running gag that will explain the random “manish” comment from Quinn to Rachel. Prepare to fall in love with Matthew Morrison and his deleted musical meltdown. Remember that “the movie never ends, it goes on and on and on and on…” and don’t forget that working at Sheets & Stuff four hours a day, three days a week is really really hard work.

Get ready to be part of something special that makes you special! Yes, that was cheesy but isn’t it kinda true? I mean, GLEE IS CRAMAZING!

Now if you’re on the fence about watching a show set in high school and revolving around a bunch of chorus nerds, I beg you to re-examine your initial hesitation. While the show is about both of those things, it’s also about something bigger, funnier, smarter and original than Glee Club!

I’ve been lucky enough to see the next two episodes and what I’ve found is that the show is embracing the absurd, the quirky randomness and running with it! Sure there are musical numbers here and there (episode two is especially heavy) but by episode three, GLEE takes on a life of its own!

I laughed, I cried and yes… it is better than CATS!

Give GLEE a shot. If you don’t like it you’re insane, that’s okay… tell me why - just give it a shot.

In honor of GLEE’s encore performance tonight, I thought I would post this video of the incredibly talented Sam Tsui singing ALL parts of Glee’s “Don’t Stop Believin’” - this kid is crazy talented…

GLEE: The Director’s Cut airs tonight at 9pm on FOX. Next Wednesday, September 9th, GLEE kicks off the season with new episodes and you will not want to miss what Ryan Murphy & Co. have in store for you. Like I said… GLEE IS CRAMAZING!

GLEE’s premiere is still over a month away but frak it, let’s get our GLEEK on! Here’s a great behind the scenes casting featurette that finally gives me faith that Fox is 100% committed to this series.

Watch Lea Michele, Cory Monteith and Chris Colford’s original auditions, learn which actor was in a car accident just minutes before the audition, which one didn’t sing and which one was supposed to be Native American Indian?!
