Dance Wars - Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli

I’m not even going to lie about this one folks, I don’t know Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli from Nia Peeples and Simon Cowell but I do know that I hate the show they hail from… Dancing With the Stars. That crap is impossibly bad, like Saved By The Bell bad but fatter, less campy, and even more gay if that’s possible.

This show was barely on my radar so I was surprised to see it on last night. I tuned in to some of the premiere of DANCE WAR and I have to admit I don’t understand what’s going on at all. Is it a dance show like So You Think You Can Dance and if so why are they auditioning singers? Is it a singing show ala American Idol and if so why are they auditioning dancers? Is it Popstar? Is it Making the Band? Why is it called Dance War if singing is part of the mix?

I missed the first 20 minutes or so and maybe that’s where my confusion comes in but what the frak is happening up in that hot mess? While we’re at it, who the hell are Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli? Are they even dancers or are they just saucy scripted wit-wannabe’s? Is Carri Ann’s head as impossibly large as it looks on television and are Bruno’s pants as tight as a 1978 pair of Jordache?

I need guidance here folks, help me understand.
