The Top 8 performed on SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE and once again Kath and Dan are back to talk everything good, bad and droopy eyed.

We ponder whether or not guest judge Ellen DeGeneres was a necessary addition to the show and more importantly if a backstory can manipulate the audience to the point that it corrupts the purpose of the show.

WGA Strike Signs

It’s the end of the WGA Strike Week 1 and the weekend is upon us. I don’t believe that people will be picketing on Saturday or Sunday but I could be wrong. Regardless, I’ll take this chance to continue adding links for news, updates, etc.

*Updated: Sunday 7:00 a.m.

  • SUPERNATURAL’s Sera Gamble speaks about the strike, where SPN is at, and some spoilers for upcoming episodes.
  • Changes to picketing for WEEK 2 of the WGA Strike.
  • The Office’s Michael Schur talks about going from a dirty office to the picket lines and calls for some changes.
  • Forget LIVESTRONG, try out the new WGA Strike Support bracelets at StrikeSwag.com
  • The Ellen Debacle:
Ellen Degeneres has pissed off more than the dog adoption community. AFTRA Defends Ellen. WGA Rebutal.

  • What shape is your favorite show in and when can you expect it to go off the air?
  • CAA To The Rescue… Food wise at least.
  • Showrunners don’t care about their Breach of Contract notices. Fox isn’t firing showrunners, just suspending them.
  • Desperate Housewives and Heroes walk the line (photos).
  • *This post will be updated all weekend, so continue to check back for updates.

Out actor and cutie patootie TR Knight went on ELLEN this morning to talk Grey’s, the Emmy’s, the Dog Heigl gave him and more.

    TR Talks Dating:

Kate Walsh doing promo for PRIVATE PRACTICE

This is pretty funny. Gotta love ELLEN and her willingness to just call network brass. Kate Walsh couldn’t be prettier, funnier, and more enamored with the prospects of her own show. Kudos to Steve McPherson for being such a cool guy for dealing with all this!

While I was at it I decided to show some further support for my Georgie… T.R. Knight.  If you love George O’Malley, find actor T.R. Knight’s coming out admirable why not show the world?  If you think his going on ELLEN was couragous and you want to further show your support for TR, why not sport a TEAM TR shirt?

    TEAM TR
    Team TR

On gay talker Ellen’s show Grey’s star T.R. Knight is finally speaking about the “F word” incident. And I don’t mean frak folks, you know which incident I’m speaking of FAGGOT.

GMMR has a whole write up on it.  Head on over to read it.  Here’s a snipet:

Ellen: And Isaiah Washington says what to Patrick Dempsey?

T.R: He referred to me as a faggot.

    Ellen: As a faggot?

    T.R: Yes

Ellen: So you’re around the corner and hear this?

T.R: It’s an awesome word isn’t it? (joking)

Ellen: It is. It really is unbelievable. It’s bad enough in school yards that happens but, grown men

    T.R.: Everyone heard it.
I love that this is blowing up!  Finally!  Shonda, I hope you got that pink slip ready and I hope that BURKE finally bites it.  Bitch.
