AfterElton.com is getting ready to launch their 2nd Annual Hot 100 issue and each of its contributors was asked to list their Top 10 hot guys.

If you’re interested in knowing who I’ve picked for this year, head on over and check it out!

Y’all know I gave up on GREY’S ANATOMY sometime last season but I had to watch last night (because I was being paid to) for a AfterElton.com write up on the hot man on man military action and I’m a sucker because I cried my eyes out through half the episode.

Watch Friday Night Light’s Santiago (Benny Ciaramello) make out with Road Ruler David Giuntoli. It’s so sweet and hot. I want to make out with Santiago…

To read all of my thoughts on last night’s Grey’s Anatomy and see more video from the MilitiaMcLovin’ head on over to AfterElton.com.

    Gossip Girl Returns OMFG!

Not that I’ll be watching it with the festival (Independent Film Festival of Boston) starting this week, but GOSSIP GIRL returns tonight!

Make sure to tune in because if I’m not mistaken the big gay will be revealed tonight! Please be someone other than Erik *fingers crossed*

Want to win a Gossip Girl T-Shirt? Enter to win!

ABC Family’s hit show GREEK comes back tonight for Season 2 and I’m ashamed to admit it but I’ve never watched the show. I think I would love it but having never really watched, I’m not certain. Here’s what I know… There’s a gay guy, the guy from quarterlife, Frasier’s daughter, and in the video below it looks like Delia (Senta Moses) from My So Called Life is on this show too! Should I be watching? Who can send me Season 1 on DVD to prime me for Season 2?

Watch a preview of Greek’s Season 2 Premiere:

    Gossip Girl Finally Goes Gay

As I’ve been hoping all season long, it appears that finally one of the guys on GOSSIP GIRL will be getting a little more F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S! Figures all the gay gossip would happen after I leave Paley.

    According to Ausiello:

I’m hearing from an extremely reliable source that a male character on Gossip Girl will be revealed to be of the gay persuasion when the show returns on April 21. Who? Can’t say. Won’t say. It’s too good a surprise. I will, however, offer five tantalizing clues.

    • The revelation significantly impacts the lives of at least three people.
    • The aftershocks will be felt on both sides of the East River.
    • Some viewers will be surprised by the twist, others not so much.
    • In the Gossip Girl novels, Dan was known to be a bit of a switch hitter — which isn’t so much a clue as it is a fact. A misleading fact? Perhaps. Perhaps not.

As my friend Amy will confirm, I’ve been waiting for Dan Humphrey to start swinging my gay way ever since the 2nd episode when I found out he’s bi in the books. It would be a disservice to the character and to my nighttime fantasies to not have this happen. Schwartzy, give a guy a break already and make a smokin’ hot character a homo already.

Sadly, general consensus is that little suicidal Eric Van der Woodsen is the closeted casanova. I can live with that but once again it does nothing for my hopes and dreams…

    Lawrence King Candlelight Vigils

If you live in the Boston area, please join me Wednesday night in remembering Lawrence King’s short life at a candle light vigil on March 12, 2008. The vigil will be held in Copley Square from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Ten years after Wyoming college student Matthew Shepard was brutally murdered because of his sexual orientation, a 15-year-old gay California student was shot and killed by another student because of his sexual orientation and gender expression.

Lawrence King, an eighth-grader at E.O. Green Junior High School in Oxnard, was shot Tuesday morning in class. The 14-year-old attacker, among a group of students known to bully and harass King because he sometimes wore makeup and jewelry and told classmates he was gay, will be charged with murder and a hate crime.

“This incident of senseless violence is truly horrifying, and our hearts go out to the student’s friends, family and the E.O. Green School community,” said Kevin Jennings, Executive Director of GLSEN, the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network. “As a nation, we’ve had our heads in the sand for far too long. We need to do everything we can to prevent something like this from happening again.

“In doing so, it’s absolutely crucial that we name the problem of anti-LGBT bullying and harassment and address it directly to find a solution to the everyday fear that keeps countless youth from feeling safe in school. We must confront the fact that LGBT students are much more likely to be threatened with a weapon and much more likely to feel unsafe at school than other students.”

The 2001-02 California Healthy Kids Survey for the California Department of Education found that California students who were harassed because they are, or are perceived to be, gay or lesbian were more than five times more likely than other students who were not harassed to report being threatened or injured with a weapon (28% to 5%).

“I am deeply saddened by the terrible news about the shooting of Lawrence King. My prayers go out to all of Lawrence’s friends and family,” said Judy Shepard, Executive Director of the Matthew Shepard Foundation. “This terrible incident underscores the fact that we cannot let hate go unchecked in our schools and communities. Our young people need our direction and guidance to prevent this type of crime from happening. I urge all parents and teachers to educate their children and students about acceptance, understanding and compassion.”

Two of the top three reasons students say their peers are harassed in school are actual or perceived sexual orientation and gender expression, according to From Teasing to Torment: School Climate in America, a 2005 Harris Interactive report commissioned by GLSEN. The top reason is physical appearance.

As was the case at E.O. Green Junior High, what begins as bullying and harassment too often escalates to violence. In GLSEN’s 2005 National School Climate Survey, nearly a fifth (17.6%) of LGBT students reported being physically assaulted at school in the past school year because of their sexual orientation and over a tenth (11.8%) because of their gender expression.

California is one of only 10 states that protect students from bullying and harassment based on sexual orientation and one of only five that protect students from bullying and harassment based on gender identity/expression.

“Safe schools laws and policies are vitally important, but simply having a law is not enough,” Jennings said. “Schools need to implement staff development and trainings to address anti-LGBT bullying and harassment. Schools also need programs that teach young people respect and tolerance. Every student deserves to feel safe in school. We must take action and take responsibility for our inaction.”

Another crucial intervention to protect students and all Americans is to pass the Matthew Shepard Act as an appropriate and measured response to the unrelenting and under-addressed problem of violent hate crimes committed against individuals based on actual or perceived sexual orientation, gender, gender identity and disability.

If you don’t live in Boston, please check the Remembering Larry site for a vigil near you.

Make Me a Supermodel’s Ronnie Kroell and Tyson Beckford

I know I don’t talk about it much because I liveblog Make Me a Supermodel each week over at AfterElton.com but seriously this show is incredible.

It’s addicting, it’s legit and it’s everything that America’s Next Top Model is not. This show could really succeed in finding a model that would kill within the fashion world, something Top Model hasn’t been able to find since Season 2’s Yoanna House (whom I lurve).

My favorite male is the cocky bitch Perry Ullmann and my favorite female is Holly. Though to be honest, Shannon is killing it each week and her look is so haute couture that I can’t stand it. I’d be happy with any of these 3 winning.

The bromance between Prison Ben and Ronnie Kroell has been so much fun to watch develope. I’m choosing to ignore Ben’s homophobic rant from last week because tonight we got to see these two almost make out as they sexed up a scene.

Head on over to my liveblog and check out more of my comments on Bravo’s superb Make Me a Supermodel!

Another week, another American Idol, another scandal involving contestant David Hernandez. The kids got more skeletons in his closet that I feel he’ll be forced out before too long. First we learned that he worked in a gay bar in Phoenix named Burn, and now it’s come out that he was a stripper for 3 years at a place called Dick’s! Head on over to my AfterElton write up to read all about it.

While you’re there, check out the newest video preview for Bravo’s Make Me a Supermodel with a much blonder Niki Taylor, a still sexy as all get our Perry, Ronnie’s moping around and the two best girls left to fight it out with all these damn fine menssss. (Video not up yet but will be soon, keep checking)

Work gets in the way of so many things, including Ms. Tyra Banks getting all tough on Presidential wannabe Mike Huckabee. Here’s the video of Tyra and Huckabee chatting about homosexuality.

I know you’ve seen this all over the net already but I can’t help but post this. Jimmy’s response to Sarah Silverman’s “I’m Fucking Matt Damon” is beyond brilliant! How on earth did he get all of these stars to join in on this video? So funny…

Big Brother 9: James Does Gay Porn

While I was away on vacation it came out that James from Big Brother 9 has quite the gay porn past. Seems like while riding around the world on that bike of his he did a few favors to earn some cash… I’ve got the pictures to prove it courtesy of some web savvy porn friends and a site called dirtyboyvideo.

The very unsafe for work, very X-rated gay porn pictures are after the jump…
    (more…)

BIG BROTHER 9: Til Death Do You Part Premiere

The BIG BROTHER 9 Premiere just ended and while I love having the show back it went by WAY too fast, right? I needed more time to get to know the contestants and esp. those pretty boy gays, Joshua and Neil.

Read all of my thoughts on the Big Brother 9 Premiere over at my AfterElton.com Liveblog.

The WGA Strike continues well into the Day 90s so the television landscape is like no winter we’ve seen before. Kath and I are back to talk about Lost’s return as well as the return of American Idol.

    Tom Brady and his Jockstrap

If you’re like me, gay and/or not into sports, then you might be in the mood for some alternative viewing options to tonight’s hot mess of testosterone, The Super Bowl.

I took the time to gather the best in counter programming from all the networks and have made a nice list of the marathons, the specials, and the movies airing all day today and into tonight to keep you glued to your television at all costs.
