For those of you not going to COMIC-CON this year, consider yourselves lucky because if you knew the anxiety and rage the scheduling has caused me and my fellow TV Bloggers, you’d be fine just staying home. There are so many TV panels this year and so many things I want to do that either overlap each other or run too close to ever hope of getting in, so trying to decide what to see is like Sophie’s Choice up in this place.
Here are the panels I’m interested in attending and as you’ll see, it’s nearly impossible to attend half of the things I’m excited about.
*Item’s in BOLD are panels I’m currently planning on seeing but I promise you, it will change before leaving next week.

Do you see how agonizing it is to try and plan your days? Saturday is seriously OOC and I’m sure many decision will change in the spur of the moment. What you don’t see on here are the parties we’re RSVP’d for and the Press Rooms we’re hoping to do as well. Add press rooms for most shows on Saturday and you’d have to have 3 Buffy Bots to help you cover it all.
Regardless, I’ll be there with many blogger friends and we’ll be podcasting every day and recording as many panels as possible to post here on Ducky Does TV so stay tuned!

Hey SUPERNATURAL fans, I just wanted to pass along the changes I just got from Warner Bros. about the Supernatural Comic-Con schedule.
The show panel is still on Sunday and still at 11:15-12:15 in room 6CDEF so don’t have a freak out or slap the person next to you as you read this. The change impacts the WB booth signings. Below is the new Supernatural Comic-Con Schedule.
Saturday, 7/26:
5:00-6:00 p.m.: Jensen Ackles & Jared Padalecki sign autographs in the Warner Bros. booth (#4329).
Sunday, 7/27:
11:15 am – 12:15 pm: Supernatural Panel featuring Jensen, Jared, EP/Creator Eric Kripke, Co-EPs Ben Edlund and Peter Johnson and Supervising Producer Sera Gamble (Rm. 6CDEF). It will be moderated by Entertainment Weekly’s Alynda Wheat and will feature exclusive Comic-Con only footage from the 4th season premiere episode, in addition to a portion of the gag reel from the upcoming Season 3 DVD release.
12:30 – 1:15 pm: Supernatural Producers sign in the WB booth (#4329).
And for all of you hardcore JPad fans, he will still be participating in the “Friday the 13th” remake panel on Sunday in Rm. 20 from 1:00-1:30 pm.

We said we’d be back with another TV Talk Podcast in a week but it took almost a week and a half, I think you survived just fine. GMMR was at the Upfront presentations so there’s plenty to talk about including her celebrity sightings, stalkings, and dancing partners. We’ll even talk about Joss Whedon’s DOLLHOUSE and J.J. Abrams FRINGE starring GMMR’s mega crush Josh Jackson. So You Think You Can Dance might get a couple minutes or five along with her time with The Office and Tina Fey!
Back to your regularly scheduled podcast, we head right into GOSSIP GIRL, AMERICAN IDOL, THE OFFICE, GREY’S, BATTLESTAR GALACTICA and more. Plus, it’s the return of TWO IDIOTS TALK LOST (*we talk about the finale being this week but listener Michael pointed out that it’s not until May 29th - phew!) where we rehash the first hour of the three hour Season 4 finale, once again proving that even idiots can enjoy Lost. And as a bonus feature, we have a special guest to help us talk about the Season 3 finale of The CW’s SUPERNATURAL.
Sit back and relax because this Podcast almost hits 90 minutes. You read that right, 90 minutes of babbling, giggling, bitching, and TV Talk!

After tonight’s episode of SUPERNATURAL featuring the Origins comic legend Doc Benton, we’re in the final moments of Dean Winchester’s battle to stay out of hell. As I’m sure he’ll point out, it’s a real bitch and so is the fact that we only have one more episode left. The Season 3 finale airs May 15th and that’s too frakkin’ soon if you’re asking me.
E!’s Kristin Dos Santos took Erik Kripke to task on the final episodes of Season 3 and also got some fan questions answered.
What’s in store for us on this Thursday’s episode, “Time Is on My Side”?
We continue to ramp up the tension around Dean’s upcoming deadline of whether or not he will be going to hell.
I assume the drama is extended to the finale though…
Yes, there’s a good chance they’ll fail to save Dean on Thursday. His soul is coming due, and the boys are getting more desperate, trying to find ways to stop it. This episode is about them trying two very different, desperate methods to save Dean. Then on top of that, it’s sort of tied in with a really creepy urban legend about a couple-of-centuries-old doctor living in the woods on the East Coast who basically keeps himself alive by stealing organs…We’re kind of delving into that, and it’s definitely one of our creepiest episodes. There’s a lot of surgery while your still alive and maggots, so that’s really good times. And then we really climax our Bella storyline for the season. Lauren comes in…
Does she make it out alive?
Tune in and find out. But it’s not great news for her, and we show a couple of cards we’ve been holding onto all season, and we sort of reveal why she is, who she is and what kind of secrets she’s been holding, in a way that will surprise the audience and kind of tie her into the story.

I was lucky enough to score a sneak peek at tomorrow night’s return of SUPERNATURAL and I think the fans will be pleased with how the show comes back. Without giving anything away, as I mentioned previously, “Ghostfacers” is a show within a show in that Sam and Dean find themselves part of “Hell House” returnees Harry and Ed new television pilot. Wackiness ensues… literally.
Here’s some things to look forward to:
- Comedy, lots of it. Not only do Harry and Ed open the show ala Andrew in Buffy’s “Storyteller” episode they now have a rag-tag team of lacky’s assisting them. The interplay between Sam/Dean and the “Ghostfacers” is pure comedy gold.
- Swearing and Bleeps. Supernatural goes Arrested Development on us. I’ve always assumed that Dean swore like a trucker and I now know I was right. The boy gets bleeped and bleeped and bleeped and it’s hysterical! Dean loves to say f*ck and flip the bird.
- The best Writer’s Strike shout out to date.
- One of the scariest horror movie-esque visuals and big bads.
- About 22 minutes in there’s one of the hottest Jensen shots I’ve ever seen in my life.
- Birthday hats will never be the same again. Happy Birthday To Me much?
- Daggett is Dagnasty
- A gay love story (no, not some Wincest)
- “Menudo left their dance bag behind.”
- 2 months gang, you know who only has 2 months…
I truly enjoyed the episode and I loved seeing a good hearty mix of horror and comedy. I’m beyond pleased that Sam and Dean swear and that Dean is the Curse King. There’s some gay interest stuff that I was worried about at first but that I think in the end works and is very sweet.
Don’t forget to check out http://www.cwtv.com/ghostfacers for exclusive content.
This is one of my last posts until after the Independent Film Festival of Boston is over late next week so enjoy the return of Supernatural and give the boys some love. Oh yeah, don’t forget to Enter to Win Issues 1-3 of the Official Supernatural Magazine.

Hey Supernatural fans, yet another good thing came out of my trip to LA for Paley this week. I got some great Supernatural scoop to share with you guys!
Just as I was leaving Los Angeles, it was announced that Jared Padalecki will be starring in the upcoming Friday the 13th remake (booo but yeah, damn I’m torn) but before he can face off with (Mrs.?) Voorhees, he and J |
