Here at Ducky Does TV, I’m into really high brow entertainment that fuels my brain and makes me feel superior to others… yeah right! I’m all about the best and the worst television has to offer which is why I’m so excited that the hideously entertaining naked eye candy of Bravo’s MAKE ME A SUPERMODEL returns tonight! Forget fueling my brain, fuel my groin!

Last season I wrote liveblogs for AfterElton.com and it was awesome having that venue to go all gayagaga for MODELS but this season you’ll just have to know I’m watching and imagine my commentary as the show plays out. Bring it!

Check out a couple previews from tonight’s Season 2 premiere…

Make Me a Supermodel - prison ben and ronnie kroell

Hey gang, don’t forget that tonight I’ll be back to liveblogging MAKE ME A SUPERMODEL over at AfterElton.com. If you’re a fan of the show, this one is not to be missed as I’m sure tons of dirt will come out and maybe some updates on the Perry skank girlfriend scandal.

Check it out at 10pm EST on Bravo and come chat with me.

Hey Gang, I’m here in Los Angeles now. I spent my whole flight watching a marathon of Make Me a Supermodel and the premiere of last night’s Top Chef Chicago! It was fantastic and passed the time like crazy. God, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… i want to do dirty bad and possibly illegal things to Perry Ullmann from Supermodel. Damn that boy is fine! Check this screengrab from tonight’s all new Big Easy episode.

Perry Ullmann in his underwear

I don’t think anyone had a hard time spotting the queer sitting in 16D after 6 hours of Supermodel’s homo-hotness. Too funny.

Anyhoo, I’m here and ready for bed. It’s late city and I’ve now been up for almost 22 hours. Must. Sleep.

As you know, GMMR and I are doing the Paley thing all week so you should follow me on Twitter for a crazy amount of updates from the left coast.

It’s Wednesday and I’m busy as a bee with my festival work and laundry, packing, etc. but I wanted to quick say a couple things about recent television.

Last night’s Idol was almost unwatchable in my opinion. I absoloved Carly Smithson’s cover of “Come Together” but really the majority of the others were just “eh”. I still can’t believe what a douche Simon can be sometimes… really, you can’t remember one of the front-runner’s names after how many weeks of this competition? Why don’t we all just call her the Irish Girl from now on.

What about little David Archuleta? That was painful to watch after he forgot the words. I actually fast forwarded through the rest because I couldn’t bear it. Poor thang.

Last night I spent most of my night running around town doing errands but I did manage to squeeze in The Biggest Loser: Couples and it was incredibly anxiety inducing. Having all of the former contestants come back and compete to come back into the competition was stressful. How about Curtis losing 100 pounds? And his wife? Amazing! I was even proud of the Grumpy Old Man. But the real deal was Ali who is half of her former self. She’s unbelievable and obviously intimidating because the rest of her new “team” lost their shit with her coming back into the competition!

What about Jillian losing her mind on Allison Sweeney? Cra-to the-zy! Loved it, she said about 50 expletives in the matter of 4 seconds and I felt the tension in that place. It was a hot mess!

They left us with a cliff hanger; either Brit or Mags are going home next week… supposedly. The preview promises a twist so I’m thinking either both are out or neither. The biggest news is that Project Runway’s Tim Gunn is going to be guesting next week for the makeover episode!

Make Me a Supermodel’s Perry and Holly
I’ll be on a plane tomorrow night when Make Me a Supermodel airs but head on over to my AfterElton blog to see a preview of tomorrow night’s episode and a sneak peek at a couple pictures from their trip to New Orleans.

Make Me a Supermodel’s Ronnie Kroell and Tyson Beckford

I know I don’t talk about it much because I liveblog Make Me a Supermodel each week over at AfterElton.com but seriously this show is incredible.

It’s addicting, it’s legit and it’s everything that America’s Next Top Model is not. This show could really succeed in finding a model that would kill within the fashion world, something Top Model hasn’t been able to find since Season 2’s Yoanna House (whom I lurve).

My favorite male is the cocky bitch Perry Ullmann and my favorite female is Holly. Though to be honest, Shannon is killing it each week and her look is so haute couture that I can’t stand it. I’d be happy with any of these 3 winning.

The bromance between Prison Ben and Ronnie Kroell has been so much fun to watch develope. I’m choosing to ignore Ben’s homophobic rant from last week because tonight we got to see these two almost make out as they sexed up a scene.

Head on over to my liveblog and check out more of my comments on Bravo’s superb Make Me a Supermodel!

Another week, another American Idol, another scandal involving contestant David Hernandez. The kids got more skeletons in his closet that I feel he’ll be forced out before too long. First we learned that he worked in a gay bar in Phoenix named Burn, and now it’s come out that he was a stripper for 3 years at a place called Dick’s! Head on over to my AfterElton write up to read all about it.

While you’re there, check out the newest video preview for Bravo’s Make Me a Supermodel with a much blonder Niki Taylor, a still sexy as all get our Perry, Ronnie’s moping around and the two best girls left to fight it out with all these damn fine menssss. (Video not up yet but will be soon, keep checking)

While the strike may be over, we are still weeks away from most of our favorite shows returning to the air in limited new episodes. In the meantime we are saddled with a ton of reality shows like American Idol, Big Brother 9, Survivor, and Project Runway. Don’t worry though, we still have plenty of time to talk about Lost and newbies like Eli Stone and Unhitched. Plus, Kath gives you an update on where she is in the process of watching all 7 seasons of Buffy before the end of March. Good times.

Okay so maybe I just made a Lamar type the leap of faith, but tonight is some seriously gay television. The only way it could be gayer would be if Pushing Daisies was on tonight (sadly, it’s not).

GOSSIP GIRL is on The CW and it’s a really dirty scandal rocked episode entitled “School Lies.” At 10 over on Bravo we finally get a new episode of PROJECT RUNWAY and Designer Zac Posen is a guest judge (that’s pretty gay) immediately followed by the Casting Special for MAKE ME A SUPERMODEL.

Make Me A Supermodel - Niki Taylor and Tyson Beckford

The “Make Me A Supermodel” casting special follows the series’ open calls in five cities – Dallas, Chicago, Miami, Los Angeles and New York, where models from around the country auditioned for the chance to be on the show. The top 35 applicants were then brought to New York to meet with the series’ hosts and representatives from New York Model Management. The models then completed a series of challenges – testing their runway walk, posing in a bathing suit and posing for photos with a partner. Ultimately, Beckford, Taylor and New York Model Management eliminated 11 contestants, narrowing the field from 35 to the top 24 finalists. During the special, a second round of cuts was made and the models were pared down to the final 12 selected for a spot on the show. Meanwhile, three men and three women were placed online on www.BravoTV.com, where viewers were able to choose the final two models that will compete in the series. The casting special includes the models’ audition videos and Bravo’s cameras follow the final 14 to their hometowns when they receive the good news that they were selected for the show.

As previously announced, during the run of the series, Bravo viewers will vote each week to determine who stays to walk the “Supermodel” catwalk again and who goes home. Over a 12-week period, 14 hopefuls will live together in a New York City loft and explore friendships, romance and naked ambition while undergoing a series of creative challenges designed to test their professional modeling potential. This series will explore what it takes to turn the exceptionally good-looking into the king or queen of the catwalk.
