Here are three preview clips from SUPERNATURAL’s fraktacular black and white episode “Monster Movie” which airs October 16th.

*Sorry, there seems to be an issue with brightcove and the videos are only loading every once in a while. I’m trying to see what the issue is. Be patient SPN fankids!

Monster Movie Synopsis:

An homage to the black and white monster movies of the 1930s, this episode finds Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) investigating mysterious murders in a small town during its annual Octoberfest celebration. In circumstances that seem strange even to the Winchesters, all the evidence in the case seems to point to Dracula, the Wolfman and the Mummy as being the prime suspects. Shot entirely in black and white, “Monster Movie” was written by co-executive producer Ben Edlund and directed by executive producer Robert Singer.

I don’t know about you but this season of Supernatural has been incredibly smart, stylish, sexy and spooky. It’s one of the best that Kripke and crew have put together, if not the best. I love that they are willing to go there this season, to introduce game changers and to take a chance on a B&W episode about the old classic horror movie monsters. I tip my hat to them and can’t wait for the world to see their newest masterpiece “Monster Movie”.

I cannot wait for the October 16th episode of SUPERNATURAL entitled “Monster Movie.” Sam and Dean will meet some of the classic black and white classic horror baddies and it looks frakkin’ fantastic.

Episode Summary:
THE ENTIRE EPISODE WILL AIR IN BLACK AND WHITE — Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Sam (Jared Padalecki) investigate several murders at Oktoberfest. The first victim was found with bite marks on her neck, much like a vampire would leave, while the second victim has wounds that look like a werewolf attack. After a mummy rises from his crypt, Dean determines that a shape-shifter demon is terrorizing the town as iconic monsters from the old Hollywood movies. Robert Singer directed the episode written by Ben Edlund

Hey SUPERNATURAL fans, here are two clips from this Thursday’s episode entitled “In the Beginning.” The X-Files’ Mitch Pileggi plays Grandpa Winchester as the boys go back to the future and spy on their early versions of their parents. Loves!

Supposedly the screener was sent to me while i was on my AIDS Ride but I don’t have it. Someone’s getting cursed or cut… you choose. *Updated: I tracked the package and it was delivered to my house but it’s nowhere to be found. I’m about to go all hell hound on some folks.

Supernatural Season 4 Premiere Reminder

Do not miss tonight’s season premiere of SUPERNATURAL! Set your Tivo, DVR, VCR and Beta-Max because this is an hour you will kill yourself if you miss. Here are couple preview clips to make you wet your appetite.

SUPERNATURAL Season 4 Premiere Photos (4)

I just got done watching the SUPERNATURAL Season 4 premiere entitled “Lazarus Rising” and boy do I have some thoughts for all of you Winchester fans. As I mentioned before, I almost wet myself when the cramazing press package came because after watching the first 5 minutes of the premeire at Comic-Con, I’ve been dying to see the rest of the premiere.

I’m happy to report that “Lazarus Rising” delivers in a huge way! It’s well shot, well acted, well written; there’s comedy, high drama, supernatural savories and one huge Wincest joke! If I had to sum the premiere up in one word, that one made up word would be: BANOODLES!

I’ve been sworn to secrecy on the majority of the goings-on so instead I’ve decided to share some of my favorite and mostly spoiler-lite moments from “Lazarus Rising” after the jump… (more…)

The SUPERNATURAL goodness continues with two clips from the Season 4 premiere entitled “Lazarus Rising”. Don’t say I didn’t share the wealth.

Don’t forget to check out the pictures from the Season 4 premiere and also the pictures and clues I posted from the Season 4 press pack I got today!

*Read my thoughts on the Supernatural Season 4 premiere!

I just came home to the best Christmas in Hell present ever. Lots of SUPERNATURAL Season 4 goodies for me to faint over.

Supernatural Season 4 Premiere Pack

That’s right Wincester fans, I just got the first 2 episodes of Supernatural Season 4 (Premiering September 18th on The CW) and some other goodies.

The packaging is crazy creepy, a big black box with some devilish insignia sealing the contents inside. I busted that bitch open (luckily no mist or black smoke shot out so I think I got by without breaking some kind of curse or something) to find some wonderfulness and some creepiness at the same time.

Inside is a origami-ish dvd screener package with Sam and the phrase “I don’t know if what I’m doing is right” on one side and some that same creepy devilish insignia sticker on the other.

Then I noticed a bible, an honest to goodness Holy Bible (which shockingly didn’t burst into flames the minute I touched it - that’s odd) with a bookmark placed right where The Book of Revelation starts (page 792 in this version). The bookmark reads: “Who is worthy to open the book and break its seals? - Revelation 5:2″

Sounds like some kind of evil mojo to me but maybe you can make something of it.

Then there’s the card that tells me what I can’t reveal…

SPOILERS I can’t reveal that I almost shit myself reading! I cannot wait to watch these first two episodes. Jealous much?

*Update: Look inside the origami screener package already dumbass…

Supernatural Season 4 Premiere Pack - Jensen photo

Seriously, Jensen’s arms just made me wet. I’ve got some work that Jensen can do… on me! The hotness monster attacks again!

*I took the photos with my iPhone so I apologize for the resolution but you get the idea.

*Some folks have questioned whether I’m lying and made these images up my self… here’s the disc to prove I have the first 2 episodes.

Ducky’s Fall TV Preview: Thursday’s Schedule 2008

Thursday nights used to be the place to be television wise at least. NBC dominated the night for so long that it became common place to plop yourself down and not move for 3 hours. Now I’m lucky to stick with one channel for 10 minutes let alone an hour or two.

SURVIVOR is entering it’s 400th season and I’m still watching. There’s something great about the mindlessness of it all and I find that comforting. Jon and I can sit down and watch while ripping people apart for stupid things and that makes me happy inside. What can you say, I’m shallow deal with it.

At the beginning of the summer I watched all of UGLY BETTY Season 2 so I’m officially caught up but I’m here to tell you that I won’t be watching that on Thursday nights which means at some point I’ll be having marathon viewings once again. I just don’t have the time to dedicate to another show at 8pm on a Thursday so it will be put on the backburner and viewed on my iPhone at a later date. Sorry Marc and Amanda…

9pm gets a little trickier. Jon and I both like to watch THE OFFICE even though we both wish it would end sooner than later. Regardless, most weeks we laugh our asses of still so it’s all good.

30 ROCK is one that I watch by myself and usually not live so the DVR sits on the brilliance for a day or two because at 9:30 I switch over and start from the beginning of the hotness and horror that is SUPERNATURAL!

I cannot wait to see where Supernatural takes us this season what with Dean getting out of hell and all. The anticipation of finding out what Sammy did while Dean was away is almost too rich with possibility. I love an evil Sam Winchester y’all and I have a feeling he’s had to be real badass since Dean’s been dancing with the Devil.

I’m leaving the 10 o’clock hour free because most Thursday’s we don’t start watching the shows until about an hour late and if I tried to watch something else that night, my head would explode Scanners style.

Gone are the days when I waited anxiously for Grey’s Anatomy to rock my world so you know… don’t have to worry about that anymore! I’m free!

I know I’m a couple days behind but I’ve been a busy boy… Here are a few of my favorite photos from the upcoming SUPERNATURAL Season 4 premiere called “Lazarus Rising.”

At Comic-Con we saw the first 6 minutes and they were amazing. I have it on good word that I should have a copy of the premiere in my dirty little hands very very shortly and I’ll give you the rundown the minute I do!

In the meantime, sit back and enjoy the hotness, the Wincest and the Bobby!

I haven’t had much time to blog recently so I thought I’d quite talk about some of the recent TV news bits that have been floating around. Sure, it would be better if I could wax on some actual TV watching but that would require me to have time to sit in front of the tube for more than 15 minutes at a time. You should see my dvr, it’s crazy backlogged.

Rich Sommer’s Mad Men

Today it was announced that the MAD MEN actor I find most adorable in that teddy bear way is going to be doing a quick guest stint on THE OFFICe this fall. Rich Sommer (Mad Men’s Harry Crane) will be in the September 25th season opener, surely hilarity will ensue. I love Rich Sommer so I’m actually really excited about this casting news, though being completely honest I’m not that excited about The Office coming back. Yeah Yeah Yeah, whatever… I can want a good thing to end before it turns into complete shit. It’s my prerogative… well mine and Bobby Brown’s.

SUPERNATURAL’s most recent casualty, Katie Cassidy, has landed herself a new gig (one that doesn’t involve drinking and driving). She’ll be playing wife to Christopher Gorham (Harrison John aka Joe from Popular or as some of you more newbies to the Gorham train may know him… Henry from Ugly Betty) in CBS’s midseason dramatic thriller HARPER’S ISLAND. I actually really ended up liking Cassidy’s work on Supernatural so I hope that she can find success. I’ll tell you this, that’s one hot ass couple.

Cat Deeley on Season 4 of So You Think You Can Dance

SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE was renewed for a 5th season… well duh! *cue Mary Murphy scream* At least this gives us yet another chance for the lovely Cat Deeley to win a friggin’ Emmy.

If you SUPERNATURAL fans missed out on the Comic-Con panel there’s no need to panic. I’ve got you covered. Here is the audio from the entire Supernatural panel (minus the amazing 6 minute Season 4 opening scene) which includes the Q&A as well as a special appearance by the Ghostfacers!
