Happy New Year and welcome to TV in 2008 — something the likes you’ve never seen before. The WGA Strike has completely changed the landscape of television for the upcoming winter/spring season and we’re here to dish about it.

Dan and Kath are back for TV Podcast #18 and while shows are still new we’re covering the latest from Friday Night Lights, Gossip Girl, The Amazing Race, and Project Runway.

We also give you the latest counts for original episodes remaining for our favorite shows as well as returning faves like LOST, PSYCH, TORCHWOOD and KYLE XY. *Just a warning there are major spoilers for the finale of GOSSIP GIRL which has yet to air.

    Watch TERMINATOR: The Sarah Connor Chronicles Free Online

    This just in my metal loving end of world friends, starting tomorrow you can watch the premiere of TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES for free at Yahoo.

    The commercial-free preview of TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES will be available for free streaming on Yahoo! for a 24-hour period beginning Friday, Jan. 4 at 9:00 PM PT/Midnight ET. The premiere will also feature an exclusive introduction by Lena Headey (Sarah Connor).

    I’m growing increasingly psyched to see this show and with all of our other faves on hiatus if this tanks for Fox, there’s no hope and John Connor surely cannot save us. My only reservation about Terminator is that tool Thomas Dekker who at Comic-Con looked like the bastard child of Axl Rose and Mickey Rourke. I still don’t forgive him (or his camp) for the homophobic shying away from his HEROES characters sexuality. Douche. *Funny that today over at AfterElton they point out how Zach is still gay in the online comics.

    TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES premieres Sunday, Jan. 13 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) and Monday, Jan. 14 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
