duckyxdaleAs a TV Blogger, its hard to find the time to watch all the shows you love (and sometimes hate) and to then find the time to write something entertaining for folks to read. You want the right blend of recap information along with personal comments, some snark, and hopefully plenty of humor. It’s a daunting task at times, espcially if you’re busy one night, or two nights, and then at your day job… its a spiraling down effect that all the sudden leaves you going, “Huh, it’s too late to talk about LOST now…”

So I’m going to quickly cover some of the shows I watched this past week in an effort to gear me up for this coming week. After the jump I’ll talk about The Black Donnellys, Top Model, Lost, The Riches, Supernatural, Degrassi, Ace of Cakes, 24, and Grey’s Anatomy.

The Riches Premiere

The Riches Premieres on FX

I’ve been waiting for this FX premiere for quite some time now. I truly adore Minnie Driver and I find Eddie Izzard to be genius so this pretty much is a no brainer for me. Plus, I love the concept. A gypsy type family of grifters take over the house, lifestyles, and identities of a recently deceased family. You know this has the ability to become WEEDS like in its tone and dramatics.

Izzard and Driver play “Wayne and Dahlia Malloy,” gypsy travelers from rural Louisiana. The Malloy’s, along with their three children, go on the run after stealing money from the extended family bank. An unfortunate accident provides a great opportunity when they obtain the identity of a well-to-do “normal family,” becoming “Doug and Cherien Rich.”

Seduced by the idea of a bigger life for themselves, and armed with the keys to a new house in a posh neighborhood, they soon find that suburban life is more twisted and challenging than any of their previous stings.

I hope you’ll tune in for the premiere at 10pm tonight.
