If you barely survived our bookcasts, don’t worry, we’re back to TV Talk-ing. We met up for an impromptu, late-night carcast and we’re in rare form. That’s right, we’re talking TV with the danger of asphyxiation. You know that’s something you want to hear!

I know two things in life… (1) I will never not love a hot man on television and (2) Matthew Bomer is the studliest of stud muffins. Don’t believe me? Just ask People Magazine – they don’t lie.
USA Networks’ WHITE COLLAR is one of my favorite shows on television right now and I swear it has nothing to do with Matthew Bomer’s piercing blue eyes. It’s not like they’re hypnotizing me so that I can’t change the channel… or ever look at another man… or force me unfollow one of my SYTYCD TV Boyfriends on Twitter…. that’s just crazy!
Anywhoozle! Who wants to win some a White Collar Prize Pack valued at $250? Ladies (and gays), it would make quite the Valentine’s Day present for the man in your life. I’m just sayin’…

Fall Schmall… The Winter 2010 TV schedule is cuckoo-bananas! Ducky and GMMR sat down, screeners in hand, mapped out all the premiere dates and dished the dirt on all the new and returning shows.
What did we think of the first 5 episodes of CHUCK Season 3? What about the new season of 24 featuring Starbuck (Katee Sackhoff)? What about new shows like LIFE UNEXPECTED, THE DEEP END, CAPRICA, HAPPY TOWN and HUMAN TARGET?
Want to know when DAMAGES, LOST, SOUTHLAND, GLEE and NURSE JACKIE return? Want to know how long you have to wait for Lauren Graham to shine in PARENTHOOD? How many more weeks until the return of TV Talk’s recurring listener fave “2 Idiots Talk LOST”?
Remember all those shows we totally forgot to talk about during that last few podcasts? Well, it’s about time we got to them don’t you think? Don’t worry though, we’ve added in a few more recent episodes to talk about as well.
First up is the Season 3 finale of MAD MEN. We’re a couple months late but we just couldn’t ignore it any longer. Next is the recent Season 4 finale of DEXTER. Then we’re on to WHITE COLLAR, BETTER OFF TED, SCRUBS and UGLY BETTY.
You begged, you pleaded and you sent hate mail so we decided to spend some time with the hot boys of SUPERNATURAL. That’s right, the cramazing fall finale is discussed in great length and we may or may not have shed a tear or two for the fallen.
Talk about shedding tears, Ducky talks about DOCTOR WHO’s send off for the brilliant David Tennant. (he’s still a little misty over it all)
Then we’re on to cable shows like JERSEY SHORE, REHAB, ONE BIG HAPPY FAMILY and MAN VS FOOD before talking about a possible GLEE burnout.
It’s been 7 weeks since our last podcast and 7 weeks since we last saw each other. You totally thought GMMR and Ducky had called it quits didn’t you? How dare you…
An extended gig in the Hamptons originally sidelined the podcast, then a horrible back injury kept this terrible TV twosome apart until now!
For our first big podcast of the Fall, we thought we’d make up for lost time with a huge 2 hour 10 minute carcast full of laughs, tears, a near death experience and even some New England leaf peeping!
Shows covered in this podcast:
HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, BIG BANG THEORY, GOSSIP GIRL, HOUSE, SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE, THE BIGGEST LOSER, THE GOOD WIFE, V, GLEE, MODERN FAMILY, COUGAR TOWN, TOP CHEF, FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS, FLASH FORWARD, THE VAMPIRE DIARIES, BONES, SUPERNATURAL, FRINGE, THE OFFICE, PARKS & RECREATION, 30 ROCK, COMMUNITY, GREY’S ANATOMY, PRIVATE PRACTICE, UGLY BETTY, DOLLHOUSE, SOUTHLAND, WHITE COLLAR, THE AMAZING RACE, SURVIVOR, DEXTER, MAD MEN and GREEK.

WHITE COLLAR INFORMATION:
To solve the hardest crimes, hire the smartest criminal! USA NETWORK’s new series, White Collar, premieres Friday, October 23 at 10pm/9c. WHITE COLLAR, stars Matt Bomer (“Chuck,” “Tru Calling”), Tim DeKay (“Tell Me You Love Me,” “Carnivàle”), Tiffani Thiessen (“What About Brian,” “Fastlane”) and Willie Garson (“Sex and the City,” “John from Cincinnati”). WHITE COLLAR is about the most unlikely of partnerships between a con artist and an FBI agent. The story unfolds after charming criminal mastermind Neal Caffrey (Bomer) is caught by his nemesis, G-Man extraordinaire Peter Burke (DeKay). Rather than returning to jail for this daring getaway, Neal suggests an alternate plan – providing his expertise to assist the Feds in putting away infamous and elusive criminals in return for his freedom. I’ve been wanting to talk about the premiere of USA’s new crime dramedy WHITE COLLAR for a while now but I was living in the 1890’s for a few weeks (no TV, no internet), this is the first chance I’ve had to urge you all to tune in tonight!
WHITE COLLAR stars the smokin’ hotness that is Matthew Bomer (CHUCK, TRAVELER) as a sly con man assisting Tim DeKay’s semi-straight laced FBI agent in catching white collar criminals.
I’ve watched tonight’s premiere twice already and have to say that the show is charming as hell. I’d go as far to say that it may be USA’s best and most adult show to date. There’s nothing ground breaking or super original about WHITE COLLAR but damn if this show isn’t addictive.
What’s to Love:
Bomer has blue eyes you could stare at for days and it doesn’t hurt that he’s shirtless in the pilot (I’m just sayin’)
Dekay has long been a favorite of mine (CARNIVALE & EVERWOOD anyone?) and he’s the perfect match for Bomer’s almost too slick criminal.
The show fits perfectly into USA’s proven successful formula of comedy, crime and drama.
There’s Gallant from ER and Stanford Blatch from SEX & THE CITY.
The show has the best chemistry on USA since PSYCH’s Shawn and Gus
Tiffany Thiessen shines in a shockingly non-showy role. She plays DeKay’s oft-shunned wife and I heart her for taking the role!
There’s a lesbian! (LOST’s Naomi)
New York City is front and center as the back drop of the show which gives the show some authenticity and energy that most studio shows can’t reenact.
There’s actually intriguing and interesting character development that doesn’t detract from the central theme of the show and I can’t wait for those subplots to play out. Kate? Bring it!
If you’re a fan of USA’s character driven powerhouse, WHITE COLLAR will fit nicely into your schedule. It’s a pinch of PSYCH with a little BURN NOTICE thrown in for good measure. Tune in for Bomer’s eyes and stay for the surprisingly great performances of the entire cast.
Check out an interview with Matthew Bomer from the Bloggers Press Day I missed out on because of the Hamptons gig… *curses*
